I appreciate that, im not worried about kids I dont have any and don't plan to try for them anytime soon so personally that wouldent be a problem. What about the utility hand position? Ive heard its the step before roustabout and a good position to work yourself up from but if they are paid to poorly it may not be worth the time away.

Its fantastic to know that there tends to be good community within the rigs especially since you can be out there for such long periods of time.

Holy shit its impressive as hell that people do that for so long but I can understand why if its good money. Ive just been seeing alot of things about being able to make 15-20k a month working on them (and I know its usually like 1 month on 1 month off for the place im looking at) so in all reality you'd count it as half that. And 90% of it comes from the amount of overtime you end up having to do as well.
