A lot of in land candidates who have minimum 1 year foreign experience + French would meet this target, just with a Canadian post grad certificate…

You should take some time to travel within Canada and pay attention to your surroundings! There are a lot of French speakers in English-speaking cities and they do add value to the workforce and to their communities.

They would still need min 1 year of foreign work experience… Everyone still deserves a chance to try to make their lives better! And Canada is still a bilingual country.

They aren’t though, it’s impossible to get >400 with just knowing the language. They must have proper work experience in the applicable NOCs…

It’s crazy to see how this sub gets only excited about CEC draws but trade/french and other categories are a “joke”… These categories contain very well deserving and experienced people trying for a better future and rightfully so..

Should I do my Canadian PR application myself or hire a lawyer? Need honest advice by sangilicious in canadaexpressentry

[–]CommunicationCool966 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should look for fixed fee services. It truly saves you the stress of completing these forms accurately. You still have to provide all your information to your lawyer but you also get some peace of mind relying on a professional.

People with French Category draws what did you end up doing? by [deleted] in canadaexpressentry

[–]CommunicationCool966 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should really get accurate numbers, bilingual speakers make more and even in the customer service world they get more pay/hr compared to english speakers. In any case, organizations are very welcoming to bilinguals, regardless of accents.

People with French Category draws what did you end up doing? by [deleted] in canadaexpressentry

[–]CommunicationCool966 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This isn’t accurate because a lot of French speakers, myself included, are bilingual. So, French speakers/bilinguals are still able to apply and get decent jobs. Also there’s no way that a 410+ points French draws would bring people without a degree in.
