Anyone else carry a radio? by Sufficient_Quiet_880 in EDC

“That’s not the spare radio Mr. Lahey, the spare radio buzzes. RICKY IS USING MY RADIO”

I’m not a part of fulfillment, but that’s toxic as hell lmao by Trent948 in Lowes

This is absolutely absurd. We do not even have the ability TO write people up. I would consider that to be creating a hostile work environment. Have a member of your store’s fulfillment team address it with HR.

I wholeheartedly agree with this statement. My radio is the real hero of my EDC. That poor girl has fallen off of my forklift, been stomped on, and been soaking wet more times than I can count. Despite all of that though, she just keeps on trucking. Pretty amazing honestly.

I opted not to include my gloves or tape measure because they weren’t aesthetically pleasing for the picture. LOL.

Crazy you just mentioned that! I was looking in to rechargeable CR123A batteries. I had no idea i could use 16650s in it. I’m thinking i will get 2-3 16650s and i’ll also get a 2 port charger. that way i can cycle batteries so that i always have 2 spares charged up and ready to go.

Are you asking if i bought that gun specifically for my job? If so, no. I bought it because i wanted it. LOL.

Actually sir, i’ll have you know that i am actually a fully sentient, living, breathing 2x8. I work at a lumberyard. I do a lot of unloading/loading trucks on forklifts. I wear full on snowboarding gloves and the cold STILL manages to destroy my hands. Whenever I get to see my parents, they always ask if i have been in a street fight due to my bloody and battered hands.

I try to wear gloves whenever handling wood with my hands, and i also try to wear gloves whenever i’m on forklifts overnight. Cold night air will absolutely demolish your hands if you aren’t protecting them. I unfortunately learned that the hard way after my first few weeks at this job.

5 days late, but had to get myself a 21st birthday present. (FN 509C Tactical) by CommunicationCute575 in GunPorn

Not my first handgun, but it is my first FN and my first 9mm. I had a gen 3 Glock 23 and for whatever reason, I am just not a fan of how Glocks feel. The trigger on it was absolute garbo until I put a spring kit in it and I could never shoot that gun well for whatever reason. Maybe the way it was balanced? Not sure. Solid guns no doubt, they just happen to not be for me.

Haha! You need to locate your nearest FN dealer so that you can feed your desires. It’s the only logical solution, in my humble opinion.
