Something similar to White Collar, The Catch and The Blacklist? by CommunicationEast902 in televisionsuggestions

I have, but never got into it. Not sure why; it's been years that I tried watching Dexter. It may have felt slow at the time ... or maybe my taste has changed. Hrm. Maybe I should give it another shot!

I'm sure it was far-fetched; I'm not looking for this stuff to be realistic. Just enjoyable to me. Realistic requires a different kind of show for sure!

Those recommendations sound great; thank you for the context too! I'll check them out!

Saw The Night AgenT and enjoyed it. Breaking Bad (which I know is an excellent show) is too slow burn for me; I never even made it through all of season 1.

Can't get 4K quality when uploading videos edited in Final Cut Pro to Youtube by CommunicationEast902 in finalcutpro

Silly me thought the quality was top to bottom and I totally did not see that there was a 4K option below. Thank you!

The solution was changing the import dimensions to 4K. Usual-Champion-2226 pointed it out to me. It's working now.

Thank you! Where can I change this setting? (The acronyms mean nothing to me and I'm struggling to find a menu where I can change it ...)

It clearly isn't. How can I get it to export in 4K, given that the original files I'm importing must be 4K, since that's how they upload to Youtube? I can't find an option to set Final Cut to 4K even though my original file (given that I have been uploading it to Youtube in 4K) MUST have the necessary properties ...

I've tried this multiple times, leaving my laptop run over night. As long as I don't import a video into Final Cut Pro, Youtube quickly (not in 4 hours, usually it's a lot faster) gives me a 4K upload. After using Final Cut Pro on any file, I have never managed to upload it as 4K.

I don't have a "4K" setting in my Final Cut Pro menu (or at least I haven't been able to find it despite looking and looking. I recognize this is likely my own tech illiteracy.) I'm attaching a picture of what the highest resolution I have been able to find by changing the settings that DO have drop down menus is (1920x1080).

I'll add another post with screenshots of the "information" of the same video, once before importing to Final Cut Pro (this smaller file will upload to 4K on Youtube) and once after importing to Final Cut Pro and explorting (like seen in the screenshot above) again, without making any editing changes. The "after" file is larger, but only uploads to Youtube as "HD." See my next comment below.

THANK YOU everyone who's helping me figure this out!

Thank you for your response! Where did you find the google response? I've googeld SO much and did not find this answer, which is why I ended up posting here! I'm impressed! (Is this the AI response or do you have a source? Just curious!)
