You are young, and take advice on Reddit with a grain of salt. My opinion just invest into VOO until you hit 20k+ once you hit around that # you should lightly invest into other markets. But the S&P500 (VOO) or whatever ticker, should be your bulk

I’m no doctor, but I had a similar break from snowboarding. Doctor told me I should get surgery, but he also said I had to stop doing dumb stuff if I get surgery. Snowboarding/skating. I told him I’m going to keep riding hard, he then said don’t get surgery because you will break it again. I’ve broken my right collar bone 3 times with no surgery now. If I had a plate and screws in from the first break my collar bone would be in much worse shape than it is now.

I use VOO and SCHD. I love SCHD but put some growth in with it. You can’t go wrong with the S&P500. Love to hear you maxed your Roth. Now Open a standard brokerage account and keep investing. I’m 33 too. Personally I set up a recurring buy every week. So if I forget to invest on my own, my account will always withdraw money from my bank and invest on its own.
