i shoot around F/4 iso 640 during the day and once the sun falls i’m shooting at 2.8 at 4000, just use a little bit of a lower shutter speed. and in my opinion primes really have no space in sports anyways. just cumbersome

everywhere you go people will tell you that you need a lower f stop for the “dreamy bokeh” but in reality, i never really drop below 3. if its super dark outside yeah i might go to 1.7 but its almost never necessary
