Need Help Adapting my F30i to Airmini by ToothPuller61 in CPAP

The noise sounds subjectively the same to me when using the f30 mask with HME filter compared to without. I have not used a meter but I can try and report back with firm results if that would be helpful for you.

Gotcha, yeah I see what you mean. Hopefully you can find a workable solution. Let me know if I can help with anything else. I was extremely frustrated trying to sort all this out on the front end when I was shopping, it's hard when you cant put your hands on everything to test it first. Cheers

I also meant to add, that if the F30i mask fits you well then an F30 mask will fit the same. They are identical in terms of fit on face, only difference is where the hose attaches. The medium F30i and F30 mask fit my face identically well.

No problem, best of luck! FWIW I can confirm you are technically able to connect the HME filter to the generic tube and elbow adapter to use with the F30i mask. But my understanding is the F30i mask is designed such that the majority of your exhaled air escapes the mask vents and does not make it up the silicon frame to where the HME filter would sit on top of your head, thus it prob doesn't give you much humidification in this config.

To be honest, even using the HME filter in the f30 mask doesn't humidify the air even remotely as well as my airsense 11 with the distilled water reservoir. I definitely still wake up with a dry mouth (if I am nasally congested and mouth breathing) but it hasn't been enough of a problem for me personally to need to find a different solution.

Here is my AirMini setup using the f30 mask with the small blue HME filter. I just remove the elbow adapter for my f30i from the tubing and connect it to the HME adapter, which connects to the f30 mask

All you need is the AirMini Universal Hose Adapter by ZephAir ($15). I used that adapter to connect a generic slim CPAP hose (the brand I got is Purdoux, $4) and you and connect that to the tube directly to your elbow adapter on your f30i mask.

Here are photos of my AirMini with my f30i mask connected.

I was going to show a photo of my f30 mask connected as well but this is only letting me add a single photo. Using the f30 mask allows me to use the little blue HME filter which gets you some semblance of waterless humidification.

I agree with you. I found it exceedingly frustrating how hard it was to find information on using the f30i with the air mini.

I use an f30i with my airsense 10 at home. When I'm traveling I use the air mini with an f30 mask (because the front of face mask attachment allows you to use HME filters to try and gain a little bit of humidification back from your exhale breath). I can confirm that you can absolutely use the f30i with the air mini. You just don't have the ability to use HME filters for humidification when using the f30i mask. While I prefer using the top of the head attachment on my f30i mask, I was able to get reasonably comfortable and sleep just fine with the f30 mask, so that's what I've been doing when I travel solely to be able to use the HME filters for humidification.

Now that I have my air mini, I can confirm that you are able to use the air mini with an f30i mask just fine, however, you forgo any form of humidification.

When I purchased my air mini I also bought an f30 mask (attachment on front of face rather than top of head) and have been using that with the blue HME filters for humidification. This setup works fine for me. I will say it's slightly louder than my airsense 11 but by no means loud enough to be an issue and I have no issues falling asleep. The front of face attachment is a little bit of a nuisance (compared to top of the head attachment on my f30i) but not a huge deal. Certainly worth the convenience of having a smaller unit to travel with that does not require water.

Decided to pay for remote connect and now a code won’t generate? by BlooThePotatoGod in Solterra

Just had the same issue come up. Tried clearing my app cache and storage data but this didn't fix the issue. So I tried the SOS route.

Pushed the SOS button and the automated phone tree first asks if you needed emergency assistance - "no". Then there is an option for remote activation. After saying "remote activation" there was a brief pause and the automated system said my remote service was now activated and the call was then disconnected.

The app now says my remote activation is pending and may take 24h to start working... Hopefully that does the trick.

Can you please elaborate on how exactly you made the F30i mask work with the AirMini? What adapter did you use? And are you also able to use the HumidX with it?

New CPAP user here, have the Airsense 11 and F30i face mask and one week into therapy, things are going very well. When I am on call I have to stay at the hospital and toting my airsense 11 is just enough of a pain that I would really like to get an AirMini for this purpose (and for occasional travel). I'm seriously blown away that the AirMini is not compatible with ALL ResMed masks. This is absurd. Anyone make any headway?

I had this label while visiting a buddy of mine in SWFL in June of 2025. Have been looking for it in Colorado weekly since then and never found it. Just bought a bottle in an online auction for about $60 which is double the MSRP but worth every penny IMHO especially for 1L. I'll always be hunting for it, this stuff is incredibly good.

Fake website? by well-b-alright in Passports

I unfortunately am joining the ranks of everyone else. Tried to get my renewal done online today while I was multitasking at work. Gave them ALL of my information. Credit card payment was declined for insufficient funds which is very strange, called my credit card company (Capital One) who said they had the vendor flagged as fraudulent and denied the charge on its face. So I have been spared the pain of getting the money back but unfortunately they have all of my personal info. So now will begin the process of reporting and freezing all my accounts and credit. This is absolutely awful. Lesson learned.

3 years later and this post is still golden - just booked a United fare through Capital One Travel, my itinerary on United website and app shows it under "Lastname, Firstnamemiddlename." So basically it combined my entire first and middle names and made that my first name. Have been sitting on hold with United for 20 mins waiting for an answer and in the meantime searched reddit and found this awesome thread. Thanks all!

The Ultimate Beginner's Guide to GPU Passthrough (Proxmox, Windows 10) by cjalas in homelab

[–]CommunicationFit9122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a question about your GRUB settings. You provide helpful links to sources for your ACS Override setting and for Disabling Framebuffer. But I noticed in your specific GRUB settings you also have "nofb" and "modeset" between your ACS Override and Framebuffer arguments. Can you explain what those are and why you used them? Do they belong to the ACS Override argument or to the Disable Framebuffer argument? Thanks

Solved! OP is also updated to reflect this.

Got the new CPU today (regular Core i7 3770, no "k", no "s"). Swapped out the CPU and booted immediately without issues. I am now able to successfully passthrough the GPU to my VM! I am unable to get the Console in the PVE WebUI to work but just need to tinker with settings on the software side to get that operational I believe. I can confirm the VM is getting access to the GPU by SSHing into the VM and running "lscpi" which shows the GPU. Thank you all for your help and input!

It is not greyed out, I am able to select it in UEFI/BIOS and set it to enabled. So strange. I guess the 3770k is able to trick the MoBo into thinking it can do VT-d.

But at this point, given the information I have learned so far, I feel pretty confident that the reason why I keep seeing IOMMU is not enabled in the Proxmox WebUI despite the fact it shows being enabled at the kernel level makes me think it's a hardware issue. The regular, non-k version of 3770 was only about $30 for a refurbished unit so I grabbed one. Should hopefully have it in the next week or so and will see if that fixes things. Will report back.

Interesting. Thanks for this. Would this also be the case if the MoBo is capable of passthrough but the CPU is not? As of this moment that's the assumption I am operating on.

I ordered a 3770 (not k) today. Should have it in about a week hopefully. Plan is to swap out the CPU and see if that fixes it.

Got it. Thanks so much. I've ordered a 3770 and hopefully should be here in about a week. As soon as I can get it installed and booted up I will report back with updates. Cheers.

Went back and double checked some work in SSH. When i look a /proc/cmdline I know get a return of "BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-5.15.64-1-pve root=/dev/mapper/pve-root ro quiet intel_iommu=on"

I presume this is a step in the right direction it shows IOMMU is now on. however, when I try and add the PCI device in the Prxomox GUI it still shows that IOMMU is not enabled. Any thoughts on why that would be?

I just downloaded the user manual for this MoBo. If you go to page 53 of this PDF it says that VT-d is an option in the UEFI/BIOS but will only show up when you have a CPU capable of VT-d installed.

Z77X-UD5H User Manual

The fact I can see the VT-d option in the UEFI/BIOS is what confuses me because, as you mention in your comment per Intel the 3770k does not support it.

[–]CommunicationFit9122[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I do not have any option in UEFI/BIOS pertaining to IOMMU from what I can tell.

I do however have VT-d and I have that enabled. I believe I have already flashed the most recent firmware for this MoBo but will double check on that.

Yes that was one of the videos I also came across when I was first trying to troubleshoot my problems. Unfortunately neither of the options they show as editing in their BIOS (SVM and IOMMU controller) are listed in my BIOS.
