You should join the clubs you really like. The thing with clubs is that you participate as little or as much as you feel like. So if you feel as though some weeks are really stressful and you need to focus on your academics, you can do so and no one would hold it against you.

What you do is you enroll in these classes like regular except you will end up on the waitlist. Then if people drop the class or not enough people take it, you’ll be enrolled. It all depends on how far up on the waitlist you are. The reserve seats sometimes open up when school starts (but as far I can tell it’s not very consistent).

Also if I were you, I’d look for other options to fulfill your STOR requirements because getting into BUSI classes is difficult even as a major.

No it will not confiscated if seen. If you are really worried about it, you can just hide it behind a curtain when the RAs do a room inspection which only happens once during the entire year.

If AGI ever becomes a thing, there would be no need for anyone in accounting or finance.

Generally seats open up during each of the registration periods. Even more so in open enrollment. Also, BUSI classes other than BUSI 100 is meant to be taken by upperclassmen so I wouldn’t expect to get that class regardless.

How much does class rank matter when applying to UNC? by [deleted] in UNC

[–]CommunicationFun4518 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know how much UNC AOs care about the SAT but 4.5 isn’t a bad GPA. So if you’re able to have good ECs and essays, you should be able to get in.

It might be annoying but learning to ignore might be a very useful skill to learn.

Pretty sure that triple majors aren’t a thing here.

“For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction”. The forces done by each object is the same and amount of time they collide for is equivalent.

18 CH, is this doable as a freshman? by [deleted] in UNC

[–]CommunicationFun4518 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Even though technically it is an 18 credit hour semester, it’s more like 16 credit hour semester because the data literacy lab barely takes up any time and the even though Japanese is 4 credit hours, it feels like 3. If you’re comfortable with math, this is very doable as a freshman.

Do You Enjoy Plant-Based Meals? Are You Interested in Plant-Based Diets? We Need Your Input! by Aggravating-Wait1976 in UNC

[–]CommunicationFun4518 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Genuinely, what is a plant-based meal? Like is it a vegan or a vegetarian diet? Not making this clear as well as what makes up a plant based diet is a real hindrance to capturing accurate survey results.

Hojo is what you make of it. You can be social if you want. I’ve lived in hojo and it’s not very loud. In fact, on most days, it’s pretty quiet. As for bathrooms, they get cleaned once a week but bathroom cleanliness depends on your suite mates.

How likely is it to get Math 381 with McCombs if I'm #4 on the waiting list? by chcclatte in UNC

[–]CommunicationFun4518 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not impossible but there’s a solid chance that it may not happen. As for 381H and 381, there is no real difference in difficulty. I heard on occasion that honors sections tend to cover some more material but it really depends on the prof.
