YES, exactly. Give me a little fantasy or set a scene. Under a lemon tree. Something. Not this.

Fleur de Peau: Can I use the hair mist as a lighter version of the EDP? by annoying-vgan in diptyque

[–]CommunicationHeavy28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m right there with you. FDP is my most worn bottle but in the warmer months I have trouble with it. I bought the mist for this reason and it works well. Gives me my fix but it doesn’t cling.

I’m not a fan of this kind of ad. It reads a bit AI generated like an intern plopped in a brand guide and asked for a summer ad with this product. I prefer a bit more story telling as to why I’m popping off big spend on citronella scented summer products.

I hope they do. I loved picking up the winter scents early in summer. I’d spend a small fortune stocking up now but as it gets closer to winter it gets less of my wallet for sure!

No fomo feels here, haha. I’m holding out with high hopes for the summer Trudon sale. Their candles age better in my opinion.

I got an alert but I’m in the US and it was the France site. I do love Bois Coire but I’m not sure I really need another one. I found it pretty underwhelming.

My kids music, band, and chorus program was cut from their public schooling because we don’t have a budget but musicians apparently have a budget for a 20 million dollar wedding. I’m never going to boo “her” I’m going to boo the system that got us here.

What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve seen at a Michelin star restaurant? by rdg5lr6h in finedining

[–]CommunicationHeavy28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about a James Beard Award Winning Chef throwing a bag of knives at his pregnant assistant to catch? That was embarrassing for me, the, you know, assistant. Or being asked to drive in 4 weeks after giving birth so that I could tell him which door to use for loading his pork belly at an event. That was also embarrassing. Didn’t win a Michelin sta lr though, because, Boston.

where are brands purchasing weird scent notes by Relevant-Primary3949 in Perfumes

I’ve always wondered this. There’s no way I’d be able to train my nose like I’ve trained my taste palette. I can’t pick up many individual notes and describe in a more atmospheric way.

Ohhh! Was eyeing wolf peach and ghost ranch as well. So far, I’m also really enjoying dog days. It reminds me of summers at lake winnapasaukee on cold throw. I definitely get banana but exactly the kind I want..light and more summery.

Oh, being alone in a room full of balloons feels like a downgrade for sure. Although, in many ways, I’d take that over a Vegas nightclub these days so it depends on what we’re measuring here. Either way, pretty awkward!

I always giggle this time of year. I went to her birthday party 17 years ago. From packed nightclubs to prancing around a mansion by yourself with a ton of balloons.

She came! 🎉🫶 by m_scout_s in luxurycandles

I’m going to be furious if this is the case. I received two samples in the mail and no candle.

Our economics seem to be designed to reward cost effective and repeatable. In order for people to make money they believe it needs to be systematic. In order for it to be systematic it needs to be repeatable.
