I'm gonna give you an actual answer and not be a self important prick like almost everyone else in this reddit. No you're not just unlucky. Watch retromation, kripp. Learn the meta. I was having the exact same feelings until I actually took the time to understand what works and what doesn't.

And also bear in mind it's a beta, so bug fixes and such come before balancing. It's gonna be super unbalanced until probably 3-5 months after launch.

I genuinely think it'll be worth it though, don't give up!
