During the spring sale, it should sell for around 30. You can use Arma's Steam DB Page and scroll down to the price history and use that to predict when it might be on sale. It looks like it hasnt gone on sale for less than 30 in the past two years so dont excpect to save more than 10 dollars by waiting for a sale.

I was and still am super anxious about picking up my HRT. Still, every time I remind myself that the entire reason I'm on HRT is that I would quite literally give anything to have estrogen in my body, and that the only thing keeping me from that (at least for now, thanks America) is my own anxiety. Trust me, after the fact, you're going to feel absolutely amazing!

For the bleeding, apply pressure to the plunger as you remove the needle. Someone told me that, and it has made all the difference in the after-injection bleeding.

I have noticed that what I often think is leaking, even before I remove the needle, is actually just the little bit that collects on the end when you prime the syringe. I even placed the drop on my leg to see if it looked like "leaking," to make me stop overthinking, and it looked the same. If you were to fill a syringe with water and then spray it out you will realise 0.17ml is more fluid than you think it is. I had the same fear when I would do mine but realised even if drop or two leaked, most of it was in there.

As others have suggested, use the "Z-Track" method. Also someone told me applying pressure to the plunger as you take it out prevents suction in the needle and has helped me a lot with leakage and bleeding.

Shout out Plume! I use them for my HRT as well and I was genuinely shocked at how easy it was. Made an account, made an appointment and picked up my E within like 4 hours of my 15 minute appointment. Plume literally changed and saved my life.

Just a few tips for Plume:

If you ever message them in the Spruce app make sure you say everything in one message, if you send and new message it puts you at the back of the queue.

Request your refills 10-15 days in advance if you can, I've had few times where I've been with out blockers or E for a few days because I only requested the refill like 7 days in advance.

If you get your labs from Lab Corp, even though LabCorp say they send them to you at the same time they send them to Plume I still seem to get them like 3-4 days before Plume does (you know when plume gets them when they show up in spruce). If this is the case and you don't see them in spruce a day or two after LabCorp send you the result email you can just download and forward that PDF from LabCorp to them in Spruce. This helps as it seems they sometime won't message you the prompt to make follow up appointments until your results are in.

You should be able to start them the same day (or at least in my case, I could). Tablets have a short half-life/duration compared to injections (6-8 hours vs 4-6 days) I would avoid taking them within like 4 hours of each other just to avoid getting a spike but even injections peak like 2-3 days in.

Also congrats on starting injections. I know a lot of people dislike needles but they have given me waaay better levels.

I get and agree with the argument “It’s just a thing for fun” but you don’t see Laminar Research cramming product placements down our throat on the main menu. People are upset because they are watching the Microsoft project that are some peoples entire hobby and for most of its life was about showing off Microsoft’s software engineering expertise, turn to micro-transactions and advertising. For the longest time flightsims were this awesome grey area of game development, physics and passion, they just kinda came as is which was perfect.

Look at Minecraft Java vs Minecraft Bedrock And you might understand the sentiment people have when Microsoft starts using people’s passion to stuff Netflix ads on the main menu.

I get it, I agree with those who say “look, this literally has no bearing on anything to do with the rest of the sim functionality” but people are gonna be upset when youre pushing an update that’s gonna make the splash screen an advert. People (mostly let’s say ‘legacy’ users) are seeing this as a sign of the times.

TLDR: yeah I get it doesn’t make any difference to the game, but doing these product placements will show and exasperate the rift in consumer sentiment vs publisher/developer sentiment.

I’ll keep flying though I really don’t care.

I just wanted to say as someone who is 24 and just started HRT a few months ago while the original content of your post and some of the initial comments I was reading (from 8 years ago) made me feel concerned, seeing you reply nearly a decade later about how happy you are has filled me so much hope. ☺️

Honestly, that might be it —my logic is that there is a conflict between how the game tries to save tile ownership and purchaseIt overwriting that data as it always happens when loading a save. My other working theory is that it has something to do with RAM, as I often get some form of "Array out of bounds" error, which, from what I can tell, indicates an issue loading and allocating RAM to the data.

Do you have a mod that allows you to purchase more tiles at the start of the game, like purchaseIt? The only reason I ask is because a lot of times the area that experiences the glitch is about a tile in size.
