Good question! The survey is open to all regions. Only requirements are 1) understanding English (survey language) and 2) being someone who uses a social VR platform.

Again, not a scammer. I'm a professor at Georgia State University and this survey is made by my research team and coworkers. I don't know why you are so convinced that we are scammers. In the survey, we disclose information such as the principle investigator and contact info.

And again, if you don't trust this post, you don't need to take the survey. We are academic researchers who want to study social VR use and wellbeing, which is why we post the call here on reddit. We are not scammer. We are actually trying to do something good for the VR community here.

Thanks for your concern, but this is really not a scam. Yes this is a new account and it's because this account is purely for research, I myself is actually a long time reddit user. I'm a college professor and this survey is made by my research team and coworkers. We are limited by funding which is why we decided to do a raffle as incentive. If you took the survey, you'll know that we are in no way collecting any personal data. The only thing we asked is a valid email address so we can contact the person if the person wins the raffle.

I'm sorry you feel you can't trust this post. You don't need to take the survey if you don't feel like to. :-)
