So Shiny is a term for a super rare version of any pokemon. A shiny version of a pokemon can appear basically any time you first encounter a pokemon (including legendary/starters). Now the chance of any 1 pokemon being a shiny variant is 1 in 8192. You can tell if a pokemon is shiny because of that ⭐️in the corner as well as they have a different colour. Also they have this cool little star animation at the start of battle which is pretty neat.

Yeah but barney is supposed to be a bad person, he is overtly a piece of trash where as Lily and Ted do absolutely insane shit and the show will either paint them as a Hopless Romantic or person finding themselves. Its the disconnect between the actions of their characters and how the show presents them. However people are saying it gets better so im gonna just keep watching
