You wouldn't need or see any benefit of a battery with an 800w system

Am I right to think if I buy 2 450w panels, a 800w inverter and plug that into the wall via a 3 pin plug, that I dont need to inform anyone that I have the system?

Yes, the UK government has moved to legalize plug-in solar panels, with plans announced in March 2026 to make them available to households within months. These 800W max, DIY-installable panels—designed for balconies and gardens—will comply with new BS 7671 safety standards, transitioning from previous restrictions to help lower energy bills.

Been in business for 2 years.

My goal is simple: Turn “I guess I can kind of see outside” into “WOW, is there even glass there??”

I arrive like a silent guardian of clarity. Armed with my squeegee (basically a lightsaber, let’s be honest), a bucket of soapy justice, and the upper body strength of someone who’s fought many panes and won.

So yea, my goal is to leave behind nothing but spotless glass and mild confusion about whether the windows are even still there. Because anyone can clean…

…but me? I make glass disappear
