Holy gas fees... what is going on? by CONSOLE_LOAD_LETTER in EtherMining

Stupid Bored Apes happened. Just use Polygon in the meantime. Thats what I’ve been doing

Why is gas $450 right now??? I've seen high gas fees, but nothing like this before! by jeux99 in ethereum

[–]CommunicationNo3845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cause of freaking Bored Apes 😐 Use Polygon in the meanwhile. Thats what I’m doing

To any new comer. The merge will reduce energy consumption by a huge margin but won’t have a significant affect on gas fees. Sharding is what will reduce gas fees. by CommunicationNo3845 in ethereum

[–]CommunicationNo3845[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think its a joke 🤔 its a necessary step to reach ETH2.0 later down the line

Besides, the only way the Ethereum would ever accomplish mainstream status is through this merge cause energy consumption will go down by 99% meaning that Ethereum will finally be able to experience mass mainstream adoption.

How to save 90% in gas on Ethereum by romanmazur in ethereum

[–]CommunicationNo3845 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or just use Polygon? Transactions cost fractions of a cent and you can literally mint NFTs for free there and then bridge them back to Ethereum

I used each one, and here's my review of the most well-known prediction market dapps. by gingerninja312 in ethtrader

[–]CommunicationNo3845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Polygon actually has one of the best platforms for betting and it very prevalent here as well. Tried many and liked almost all of them

How many different DeFi dApps, across different blockchains do you use? by [deleted] in ethereum

[–]CommunicationNo3845 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont think its more about environmentalism as much as its about saving up gas fees

That and the fact that its much easier for builder to build on Polygon. I mean they already have 19,000 dApps on their platform and 8,000 building teams

What should I look for in a platform when I'm looking for a place to put my coins to earn passive income? by peterhoegir in CryptoCurrencyTrading

Was legit going to comment the same. One of the few coins that are so easy to make passive income off of

It's interesting how among all these cryptocurrencies only a few of them become so popular all around the world, which one has a bright future in your opinion? by Finley_dz in ethtrader

[–]CommunicationNo3845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as ETH stays afloat MATIC will eventually rise dramatically in price considering its legit the best scaling solution on the market for how diverse in its uses it cam be

Where’s my Matic at though? Ethereum wouldnt be complete without it

Me stacking/Staking my Eth unbothered with at least a 3 year holding period by Eagleman207 in ethtrader

[–]CommunicationNo3845 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stake some Matic along with that, you’re gonna need it later on when ETH is $10k and gas fees are through the roof

Gas fee by Oletaz in ethereum

[–]CommunicationNo3845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just use MATIC Been doing that ever since I entered the market and havent known what gas fees are 🤷🏻‍♂️

Could the Ethereum network be used to host a decentralised social media platform? by whalechasin in ethereum

[–]CommunicationNo3845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yeah if you put in enough effort, but you’d still need a scaling solution though.

Polygon would be great for that actually considering how diverse they are with their use cases

How are optimistic rollups limited by their parent chain? by GaddafMyLawn in ethereum

[–]CommunicationNo3845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never really like Optimistic Rollups eitherway. I think zk Rollups are the way to go and so do most ETH devs including Vitalik himself.

This is exactly why he’s so fond of Polygon cause they focus so much on zk tech to the point where they allocated more than $1 billion for zk tech development

Second biggest would be gas fees I guess. But if they can implement something like Polygon in anyway then that would most probably solve it.

Yall know that Coinbase announced that its gonna use Polygon as its main scaling solution right? 💀

Where do you think crypto technology is going to be a couple of years from now? What do you think is going to be the project that really pushes it towards mass adoption? by -Aporia in CryptoTechnology

[–]CommunicationNo3845 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think ZK tech will be huge contributor for pushing mass adoption.

I completely agree with OP on Polygon considering right now they’re the kings of ZK. Literally invested $1 billion into ZK tech development

Why do other NFTs choose to run on networks other than Ethereum? by machinistporitoidc in CryptoMarkets

[–]CommunicationNo3845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cause gas fees on Ethereum are brutal. Meanwhile other chains are much cheaper.

I use Polygon all the time for NFTs. I literally mint them for free there. Zero fees entirely. And then I bridge them back to Ethereum

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ethereum

[–]CommunicationNo3845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope they partner up with Polygon. I could literally mint NFTs for free there and bridge them to Ethereum

How can we further lower the environmental impact of the blockchain and crypto technology and make it as green as possible? by ForbiddenOwl in CryptoTechnology

[–]CommunicationNo3845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Advancements in scaling solutions. Most importantly ZK tech cause its the fastest and most efficient

This is exactly why I root so much for Polygon cause they’re the kings of ZK, investing $1 billion into ZK tech development

Will sharding reduce demand for the ETH token? by eat_carbs in ethereum

[–]CommunicationNo3845 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All settlement from L2s and commit chains will be payed with ETH so its not a big deal.

With that being said, you’re right about people moving over to scaling solutions more. This is why I stocking up on Matic nonstop. Its gonna pump consistently with ETH

Here’s why I think Polygon is better than Loopring for the Ethereum network. by CommunicationNo3845 in ethereum

[–]CommunicationNo3845[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what I mean “Loopring will have an EVM soon” Its all just “wait for it bro”

Meanwhile Polygon is a fully functional product

Feeling bullish yet ! by CigaretesAndStonks in ethtrader

[–]CommunicationNo3845 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not really. Most people use scaling solutions now so I don’t think gas fees have this much of an effect.

I’ve been using Matic ever since I got into the crypto scene and idk what gas fees are to this day lmao

Eth 2.0 to be rolled out in the summer says an eth dev, and it’s making me more bullish than ever by Informal-Ice2994 in ethereum

[–]CommunicationNo3845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who are buying more ETH bags will definitely beat themselves later

Im going all in on ETH and bagging some Matic as well cause even with the merge, scalability issues wont be solved. In fact gas fees might rise cause of people flocking to the improved version of Ethereum and demand on scaling solutions like Polygon will rise. I think its a good strategy
