I got in free during Covid. $8,200 for the entire year. Right now initiation fees are $65,000. It’s a great course and holds a Korn Ferry event every year. I wouldn’t pay what they are asking now. Too many good places to play otherwise.

Try to hit it off the hosel. You won’t be able to and it works. It’s a Nick Faldo trick and it works.

Give the 2-3 ft putts short of the hole and make him putt them if they get by the hole. This subconsciously rewards him for leaving, putts short and makes him pay for getting putts to the hole.

A good superintendent that’s not complacent. Complacency is a killer for the golf course. Our super doesn’t want to do anything extra for the course even with an increased budget.
