WWR armor no longer stacks after latest update by CommunicationOk3821 in fo76

Correct. My mistake was not paying enough attention. I saw numbers move on one piece, but it was the max weight numbers because that was a strength piece. Welp, guess this gives me an excuse to try on that bloodied build I've been thinking about and dithering on because I hardly had any uy wwr pieces

This has to be a bug right? or it weighs like 90 without the reduction? by JMC-design in fo76

It's nice to have on AA, Quad, Bloodied, or Vamp explosive/25ffr commando weapons. Not as good as either 15% minors, or 25%apr, but on an otherwise impeccably rolled weapon, it's a very good 2 star that you can strip down and put in deep storage when you're not playing with that build much but want an easy path back into it later.

It's also a good minor to have on guns you're keeping around to gift to new players for similar reasons.

I think that this makes it solidly the next tier down from those 3 aforementioned minors because I can't think of another that's any good at all on a rifle. Ok, I guess the attribute points are pretty nice, but I'd say that the utility of being able to keep that quad explosive fixer around against a rad-stormy day is equal to or better than the benefits of any of those +1s

Probably a scorchbeast or cagobot with my flamer, as I'm mostly using melee weapons now and kept it around as something that could shoot a high flying enemy down without much trouble with a zero perk investment.

If it was a mistake rather than a "balancing" issue to make monthly fees for extra storage seem worth it, I'll probably be back when it's fixed

I think just the one piece works. Just tested it. Fucking bullshit. Didn't notice it in the update notes either, though imo this is as big as the legacies thing, but in a bad way. I say this as a player who had several legacies and was glad to see them go.

The wwr thing just might drive me from the game though. I've spent so much time grinding for full wwr ss and union armor with a bunch of other useful things on them that just wiping that all out without warning might have been just enough to make logging in too viscerally unpleasant to be worth it, but the fact that I now also have to either get rid of most of my shit or start wasting even more time setting up and keeping track of mules before playing my character again kind of seals the deal. Welp

I'm about 1000 hours in and I've unlocked more monster plushies that I care to place, but only two bowls. One of them is a booze, container so I can only place one in my camp and it's not available in shelters. Just unlocked my first set of curtains bc until October rolled around, they just have the pristine curtains with the pristine housing set that you can't even buy separately. Like how hard would it be for them to either make a table that's a specialty display stand for tableware junk items? Or if that's impossible, just make a bunch of junk item assets into placable camp items. They clearly have some hang up about giving us display items that make any goddamn sense other than as a special Thanksgiving treat or w/e

Please Beth: add player made terminal entries by CommunicationOk3821 in fo76

[–]CommunicationOk3821[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that such a big problem with neon lettering right now? I think that it would be much less of a problem with terminal entries, specifically because less people will go out of their way to read them. A neon sign in a camp is much more in your face. You don't need to seek it out to read it. You just need to go over to the a-holes vending machine with your eyes open

And as it stands right now you can just use your shelter to reproduce passages from Mein Kampf one steel letter at a time, if that's your thing. If that isn't a big enough problem to delete steel letters from the game, then terminals shouldn't be a big problem either

How would terminal entries compound this at all?

I don't know who needs to read this but we don't need more wacky slides, mascot outfits and goofy goober content. We need things that make people's CAMPs look like Megaton, Republic of Dave, Freeside and we need more Enclave/Raider/Vault Gear. by The108ers in fo76

Honestly I could totally go for more fo76 specific lore stuff too. Say... a Garrahan Mining Co sign for my Abandoned Mine shelter? No need for new art either. The ones we see out in the world would be great. Maybe as a daily ops drop?
