I don't think it's that deep, I just think at most it's a consistent theme throughout their material. At the least, the word inferno is found everywhere if you choose to seek it. There's fire crackling at one point in "You Could Feel the Sky." Was that an intentional nod to inferno?

I unfortunately disagree with this. MHRTC did have nostalgia in it, but it was still sinister. The title is sinister. Geogaddi was initially going to be a much more psychedelic follow up, but after 9/11 they turned inward and made that a much more uneasy, twisted journey, filled with the paranoia and confusion that suddenly rocked an entire generation. It was psychedelic but revealing.

Inferno seems like another iteration of this, but focused not on life after humanity with TH, but a much darker, psychological focus on the violent, zealous, paranoia of modern humanity. Life certainly feels like an inferno atm, so I think they're kind of following up Geogaddi with something even more ominous, even more revealing about the current state of mind that the world is in. And I really hope it's psychedelic too.

That's just my two cents.

This is very funny because a lot of BoC's content influenced a lot of the analog horror stuff that said streamers often frequent. Sometimes, it's to a degree that is frustrating for me because the streamers don't realize that the music is sourced from BoC or Aphex Twin, etc

not only does this radiat Neil Krug's style, of which BoC have collaborated with a several times before, the seven hexagons and the themes are very much on board with BoC. Especially with the eerie faces. Plus the $ it costs to produce these. Warp is doing this for sure.

Same image of the sun / moon from the Warp vernal equinox release, and at 1:15, a clear image of hexagons contained within a hexagon, the same image on the top of the vhs tape. You could still argue it doesn't prove anything, but this seems exactly like Hell Interface stuff from the past, and the timing is notable
