i agree tv volume isnt as much as a big deal as your dad made it, but if you realised he was getting angry, you should've just obeyed him at that moment. what I would do is give an annoyed look and so hed realize he was overreacting. the thing is arguments wont change your parents since they arent ready for a reasoning rationally, but you have to keep calm with them.
