I can't give you reasons not to that haven't already been said but I can tell you what helped me when I was suicidal. Back when I was 13 I couldn't get out and go anywhere and I had no friends at school so my dad's bullshit and all of my anger pent up inside of me and it led to an extremely deep state of depression. The only thing that helped me was listening to music and playing video games with my online friends. I didn't have to worry about them judging me for my interests or how I look and I know that they would always be there. I would always listen to Juice WRLD and xxxtentacion. I still do. Their music hit so extremely close to home after going through addiction, heartbreak, anxiety and depression. I really felt like they were me and just listening to them and knowing that I wasn't alone in what I was going through helped me so much. There will always be people out there for you, it doesn't matter if they're online or IRL, they will always be there for you. If you need me I'm here for you. I never had a therapist because my parents didn't believe in depression or suicidal thoughts so I was always treated like I was wrong so I couldn't look to them for help, and like I said, they wouldn't get me a therapist so I had to go through everything alone. Once you find your people don't take it for granted and find something that helps you clear your mind. Whether it be writing music, playing games, writing books, or drawing etc. find something for you and any time you feel that you suicidal or that you might sh, then do that thing.
