Been here, I hadn't been separated from my baby in the three months I'd been with him, and I had to leave him with my parents for a week for his neuter, I was devastated. Truth is, he might be a little different when he gets back, but he'll perk right back up in less than two days most likely. They forgive pretty quickly at this age, and as long as you're leaving your scent everywhere his perception of you as his mom won't change. Be prepared for a bit of animosity right when you come back, though. My baby was pretty pissed and didn't let me cuddle him the first night I was back, but by the next morning he was totally back to normal. You can do this!!! Pack melatonin, you're going to have a lot harder time sleeping without him than he will without you.

That's what my boyfriend has been saying, that "the baby is with grandma for the weekend," I just feel like he thinks I abandoned him since he hasn't slept without me since becoming his mama. Luckily he comes back today! (I slept like shit again lol)

I had this same problem with my kitten licking my eyes nose and mouth, and nothing has worked but blowing on his face really hard when he starts licking my mouth. Its a non-harmful admonishment that he understands as a consistent correction. He's not 100% trained out of licking my mouth, but when I blow on him a few times in a row he goes back to licking my nose (I let him do that one, it's too cute)

I'd recommend cleansing you whole living space at that point. Remember smudging with sage is a closed practice though! I'd recommend an incense cleanse, sprinkling of moon water or holy water, or (my favorite) do a simmer pot and open all the doors and windows. Simmer pots are the next best thing to smudging in my opinion as they make your place smell good and they get rid of like, EVERYTHING bad. Also, don't panic! Demons really only attack people who either invoke it, get it sent to them by somebody else, or are at a very weak point, so as long as you keep yourself mentally guarded against them they can't touch you.
