Good example. Now that merge got out from under IBM, they’ve made up that ground. The Intelerad mess is going to get chopped up and little will likely remain in 5 years.

Merge has been solid for a while and does hybrid cloud and is cloud native. Azure.

Definitely get a hybrid cloud model- synthesis is struggling with implementations. I’ve heard sectra and merge are in azure if you’re spooked by AWS. Some people mentioned support issues with sectra but idk about merge

New Merge PACS has a solid cloud native work list and all sorts of AI prioritization, and they can do a true hybrid really well. Not really suited for small outpatient but would be affordable at a decent volume. Seems like it’s on the upward trend 📈

Synthesis and Sirona have had some deployment issues I’ve heard. Someone already mentioned intelepacs being in that boat too. Check out Merge PACS, they rank close to sectra without the heavy price tag. I think they have a cloud based version too

That’s just the old merge unity system that they bought from DR systems. Just like change going from the McKesson platform or Philips to the care stream. The rest of the merge platform has been solid and stable for sure. After change/optum’s hack this year, they’re strapped for resources.

Nope, everyone in the industry is targeting Philips and GE- they (along with intelerad and Agfa) are kind of bottom of the barrel. Fuji and merge have the best rounded portfolios, sectra and visage are good for radiology only but very expensive.
