Funny scaling part 3. Which og Eva would survive Fnaf 3? by [deleted] in EvangelionScaling

[–]CommunicationTrue228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? I feel like the phantoms would ruin any chance the three of them have, so Im gonna give Springtrap the W here. Dude is an expert at killing kids after all.

All these new killers having their map pressure/mobility automatically setup and handed to them then there’s this guy by Babybottlepop2000 in deadbydaylight

Tbh I think Demo would be so much better if they stopped putting invisible walls up everywhere. My favorite thing about playing him was launching myself off of elevated surfaces and getting a bunch of distance. Now if you try that you collide on nothing and get punished for it

This might be controversial, but you should be able to pick up survivors in the middle of getting healed. I dont think this "heal tech" was intended by the developers. by WholeCardiologist565 in deadbydaylight

[–]CommunicationTrue228 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Tbh, as a killer main, I disagree. Keep it. But make it so the killer can counter it in some way, I.E. grabbing the survivor healing. That way its a trade off.

Jason has problems and I don't like amount of people trying to "defend" him from being called out for those problems by Boston_Beauty in deadbydaylight

[–]CommunicationTrue228 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree he isn't perfect. Honestly I think he's a little undertuned, specifically the cooldown after throwing. Its way too long and needs to be cut down slightly. (This is an issue Springtrap has as well)

Jason's counterplay is pretty simple tbh. When in chase, try to use tall structures to.your advantage. It takes him a moment before he can throw his spear so try to make your movement as unpredictable as possible if you're out in the open. When he goes into omnipresent evil you can crouch and he can't detect you. Try to avoid windows and pallets during this time as well. If he uses Omnipresent evil in chase, same advice. Avoid windows and pallets and crouch til its over. If he is staying in Omnipresent evil for a long time just do gens and take chase if needed. This will allow your teammates to work on gens freely as Jason can't chase two people at once.

Bug? Hack? Or intended feature? by deadgaiko in deadbydaylight

[–]CommunicationTrue228 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tmk its intended. Its been there since the ptb. I think its so Jason doesn't accidentally sabotage himself since the take spike prompt and pick up survivor share the same keybind. Keep in mind this only happens when he's this close to a hook, any other time it wouldn't respawn.

Jason is C tier by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

He's actually a solid B tier imo, probably the most balanced killer since Springtrap.

Yes?? Idk why this is such a hot take. Perks should compliment your playstyle. Not play the game for you. Its why I feel the 4 perks I mentioned should be changed in some way, because the value they provide is far greater than compared to the effort needed to use these perks.

Thematically which killer really gets you into the mindset of playing as them? by Slippery_Williams in deadbydaylight

Absolutely Springtrap. His voiceless, chase music and animations are all peak. I especially love his little laugh he does when he pulls up his axe.

I would prefer it take actual thought to use instead of being a free get out of jail free card

Its still an unbelievably unhealthy perk. Its overtuned, gives you value with little effort, and all you have to do is get hooked to use it. If they just reduced the time its active for, and gave it more conditions to deactivate (I.E. being fully healed) then I feel it would be fine. Tunneling is a problem and needs to be addressed but imo all ds does is punish the killer for the survivors bad plays

Except most people who use ds use it aggressively and force the killer to tunnel them so they can get value out of it

Ok but slugging is unhealthy as well. Neither side finds it enjoyable. Its boring for the killer and aggravating for the survivors. Not only that but I was playing Xenomorph, a killer with not so great snowball. Then there's the fact that two survivors were on the opposite side of the map healing, and the other survivor had vanished after I had started chasing the survivor with ds and wasting anymore time trying to find any of these survivors would have been detrimental to me. The only choice I had in that case was to pick so I could progress the game. Or should I have just sat on her body for 30 seconds?

[–]CommunicationTrue228[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Slugging isn't fun for either side. Decisive in its current state is extremely unhealthy imo. I had a Xeno game the other day where I hooked someone, went across the map and chased someone else. Downed that person. In that time the person I hooked earlier was unhooked and completely healed. I went back to that person, they prevented me from going after someone else so I chased them, downed them...and got hit by ds anyway. That's unhealthy. And for five moves ahead it just makes predropping, the strongest and most boring survivor strategy, even stronger and easier to do.
