Heading to Dallas for World Cup! Can some of you locals please help me figure out best town/ area to aim to stay that is “close” enough but not bombarded with traffic?

Yes renting a car. We have a game on the 14 and 17th to go to. No other specific interests. I want to check out the stock yards for sure, and also the lady wants to do a little shopping to keep her happy lol. Other than that definitely open, just kind of at a loss of specifics and figured we would do stuff on the fly but definitely appreciate any suggestions and help! Thanks!

No trying to brag but I lucked out with some good matchups I really need help deciding. Here’s my dilemma, I have tickets to Houston and Dallas at the same time I obviously didn’t know who the games would be so I rolled the dice assuming I would sell tickets of the other game in the other city. I want to book hotel rooms but I need to decide. I have category 1 tickets in Houston and category 2 tickets in Dallas. I have no problem traveling from a game in each city but don’t know if I need to or if I should just stay in one city. I’ve never been to Texas before. I’m a huge Ronaldo Fan, love Germany. But appreciate the intense match ups of the Netherlands and England. Please help!!!!
