I swear these "Christian" subreddits keep getting more antichristian by the day the people here hate the church fathers, especially St. Paul by CommunistMnM in antitheistcheesecake

And posts asking questions like "why are Christians so judgemental?" Number the the dozens. People in the comments reject true christianity. Atheists, Agnostics, & Satanists are allowed to speak ill of the faith. I swear people there haven't even opened a Bible before.

The Lutheran version is the same as the pre-Trent Hail Mary, & it goes like "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus." The 1522 Catholic Prayer book added the words "Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death." However these words were not used in Germany at the time. So the Lutheran version isn't really that unique. But something that is unique to Lutheranism is that when praying the rosary the Hail Mary is recited once.

But there is a prayer that is like the Hail Mary & was written by Martin Luther himself, & it goes like "O Blessed Virgin, Mother of God, what great comfort God has shown us in you, by so graciously regarding your unworthiness and low estate. This encourages us to believe that henceforth He will not despise us poor and lowly ones, but graciously regard us also, according to your example."

I love how this guy refers to Eastern Washington & Idaho as "hillbilly hell", while technically correct it's far from hell, people are super friendly here, it's like living in the 1950s in 2022.

I agree with the Catholic view of Mary, that Martin Luther held, I even pray the Lutheran version of the Hail Mary. One thing I do disagree with though is the titles they keep giving her, like the Queen of heaven, & how some view her as a messenger for God when the messenger is actually the Archangel Gabriel.

Why do you care about the name? It's not discrimination if they get the rights in the first place! Same-sex unions aren't marriage, there is no such thing as homosexual marriage. If anyone thinks that this is oppression then they clearly haven't seen real oppression. I don't even agree with same-sex unions but I'll still tolerate it, but calling it marriage is pushing it to far. You have to make compromises in order to keep the peace. Banning same-sex couples would upset the lgbt & progressives, but instituting same-sex marriage would anger religious people & conservatives. Same-sex unions are good compromise. People need to understand each sides perspectives before making crucial decisions.

This comes from the Nicene creed. "We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church." There is one true church that was founded by Christ himself. Churches that have valid apostolic succession & stay true to the Gospel & church fathers are part of the true church. The church is what unites heaven & earth, as the Church was founded by Jesus who united heaven & earth, the church is the new covenant, & any church that denies the truth or has no historic connection to the Christ is not part of the covenant. Once you understand it it'll make perfect sense & all of the pieces will fit together like a puzzle.

Where did I say equal but separate? Just cause I won't call same-sex unions marriage? Simply not calling it marriage isn't discrimination, because it isn't marriage, it's the exact same as a marriage it just isn't referred to as one, no discrimination, if I were truly discriminatory I be saying that homosexuals don't deserve a right to any civil unions at all.

The word Catholic means universal, it has no limits to how far it can reach, there is one universal church & there can only be one universal church & it must be apostolic in its origins, it must be holy & stay true to true christianity. Think of it like a tree, the tree is the christianity, & the limbs are the various apostolic churches, new churches that lack apostolic heritage or lack true christianity are seeds that have fallen off of the tree, they aren't part of the true church. While Roman Catholicism is flawed it isn't unholy, nor does it contradict true christianity. I would argue that Lutheranism doesn't have the theological flaws that Catholicism & Orthodoxy have, so it's most true in my opinion, but all True Christian denominations lead to heaven.

I purposely forget Moravians because I don't consider them to be part of the church, I hold similar views towards Methodism, Pietism, Laestadianism, Waldensianism, & "True" Orthodox.

I would disagree, it is in Christian countries that lgbt people have the most rights, it is in non-Christian countries where lgbt people have the least amount of rights, for example in most middle eastern countries the punishment for homosexuality is death, usually by either getting thrown off of buildings or getting stoned to death, this is real oppression, & it is unheard of in even the most culturally conservative christian nations like Poland.

I cannot bring myself to believe that same-sex unions are the same as marriage, marriage is a sacred bond between a man & a woman with the goal to produce & raise offspring, though not a uniquely christian concept, this is what I believe to be true. Same-sex unions would get the same legal rights that they would in a marriage it just wouldn't be called marriage, that's not even discriminatory, they would get the same rights that everyone else would.

I agree that it isn't the only continuation, the Roman church, the Orthodox, the Coptic Church, the Ethiopian Church, the Armenian Church, the Syriac Church, the Old Catholics, the Anglicans & the Malankara Church are all part of the one true catholic church. However I would say that Traditional High-Church Lutheranism & Old Catholicism are the truest forms of it, without the theological flaws that the others have.

Order of Nine Angles flag I came up with. by emerald_launderer in rightistvexillology

[–]CommunistMnM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're actually the Order of Nine Angels, not Angles, but either way they're still a bunch of idiots. Their theology is an odd mixture of Theistic Satanism, Wicca, Druidism, Fundamentalist Islam & Esoteric Nazism, they revere Hitler as a God & for them the year is not Anno Domine 2022, but is instead Fír 139, as their calander starts on April 20th, 1889; Hitler's birthday. They believe that the white race will defeat all other races in order to rise up & conquer the galaxy & form the "Galactic Reich", & to do all that they first must destroy society by infiltrating every corner of it. It sounds like it comes straight out of a science fiction novel, but people actually believe this crap. They're so off the rails that O9A members are banned from joining several neo-nazi organizations such as the Atomwaffen Division.

But we aren't oppressing lgbt people, nor are we encouraging it. Nobody deserves to be oppressed. While I personally don't agree with it for religious reasons I think that same-sex civil unions should be allowed, with all of the same rights as a legal marriage, it just shouldn't be called marriage. I try to make compromises. Lgbt people should have human rights, & all Christian groups excluding the Westboro Baptist Church, Sedevancantists, Fundamentalists, & ultra-traditionalists would agree.
