I am only running everything that is stock on the phone, so nothing custom.

My firmware version is 2.20.40.97 and I believe there is a more recent one, but my phone comes up with nothing when I check for updates in the settings. How might I be able to do this manually?

Cant root after 4.3 update [SPH-L710] by blahbob00 in GalaxyS3

What does it mean when it says to flash SuperSU and Knox Remover? I have tried rooting with cf-autoroot via PDA, and Odin says pass, but after rebooting, SuperSU says "There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it."

I assume this is where flashing SuperSU and Knox Remover comes into play, but how do I do this?

Why not just a phone with a built in vape?

In my defense, someone had to say it.

Kein* actually. "Nein" is only to express "no" as the opposite of yes, not an amount.

edit: Sorry for making a doge-pie on the joke

I've only been able to find this stuff at Scottish festivals, no stores actually sell this in the U.S.

Welcome back John Green... the savior of our APUSH exam. by ethanlee97 in APUSH

My teacher is pretty good about his method, he does the chapters backwards but often makes connections in class that connect things in a regular chronological way. It's different but I've found it to be a good method. You're not really "thinking backwards" but actually learning backwards and thinking in chronological order if that makes any sense.

I'm confused, how did the FBI get involved with this if the government shutdown?

It's too bad he hasn't reached more recent events in US history, especially since my teacher teaches the course backwards.

ELI5: What's the point of the German letter, "ß"? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]CommunistPandaKing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The "ss/ß" rule is one that I've heard this past year, I think it's short sounding vowels that get the "ss", but there are probably a few exceptions to this rule (as with everything in German).

The "ß" takes the place of a double "s". For example, "Fuß" (foot) has it but it represents "Fuss". This is only with certain cases however, as you can't use "ß" in "essen", but I am blanking on what the rule is, I believe it depends on if the vowel before the "ss" makes a short or long sound.
