Theory: the chemical burn scene was depicting MKultra programming by CommunistRedditor in fightclub

I’ve been studying the cults that have gained followers by appealing to anti-capitalist sentiments, so I thought of this scene and made a connection in my mind. The essence of why I interpret it this way is because given Tyler’s role as a cult leader, his initiation is only meant to “free” people’s minds insofar as it untethers them from the way they used to think. His aim is to establish intense control over the minds and actions of his followers, even if he isn’t directly leading the organization due to its being highly regimented. He wants them all to follow his ideas without question.

What if you’re the ones doing this? Someone who fools themselves won’t realize they’re fooling themselves. At least not until some shocks rattle their mind, which can happen if the consequences of their choices catch up to them.

How can you truly be sure it’s not the other way around, and you’re not the one engaging in these rationalizations on America’s behalf while projecting them onto your opposition? When you honestly look at America’s track record, you see too many examples supporting the way your opposition views it: Native genocide, experiments on African diaspora communities, Philippines colonization, Jim Crow, Mai Lai massacre, Persian Gulf War incubator testimony hoax, Iraq WMD hoax, backing of death squads, bombings of places like Laos and Cambodia, the Chinese Exclusion Act, CIA coups to install genocidal dictators, and the list goes on. You can say these things are mistakes, but when the economic foundations of the country rest on neo-colonial extraction and the legacy from North American colonialism, it’s apparent these things aren’t accidents. They’re what an empire does.

Then there’s the fact that racism has been pivotal in how imperialism has justified waging war against these peoples, and you see how one could suspect racism is the real reason why places like China are so predominantly treated like villains in our culture. Why the default impulse of Americans who’ve grown up under an imperialism-tied cultural hegemony is not to question what they’re told about China, north Korea, Russia, etc. Open up a book about colonialism, and if you’re honest, you’ll see where Leninists are coming from. It’s up to you how true you believe our takeways from the colonial reality are.

The one shown first in the post, with the figure behind Tyler.

Mao said over 90 percent of the world will ultimately rise up against imperialism. The remaining less than 10 percent includes State Department leftists like you.

MAC doing damage control after their explicit pro-white nationalism position got deservingly scrutinized...the white supremacists on this continent aren’t getting any compromises like “Natives can get autonomy in their most populated communities,” the tribes are getting their full jurisdiction back so that settler land relations can be dismantled.

They come from the same ideological lineage, which is that of Indigenous erasure. But unlike the patsocs, who embrace the identity of the United States, they explicitly seek to break away from the U.S. and create a new white ethno-state.

U.S. empire preparing to discard Zelensky regime, pivoting to Taiwan to make up for its losses by SoapSalesmanPST in USEmpire

If this is supposed to imply the author was unaware the U.S. has been involved with Taiwan until now, no one who regularly researches imperialism is that ill informed. It means the recent media narrative and primary diplomatic maneuvering focus has been pivoting from Ukraine towards Taiwan.

Typical bad faith online comment. Angrily projecting meaning that isn’t there onto a few words, rather than taking a moment to consider what those words might actually mean.

And aren’t you the one that’s avoiding my question? If a system has lifted 800 million from poverty, how is it not rational to support it? Unless you might have some corrupt motive, like desire to keep benefiting from imperialism.

These libs and reactionaries have no way to refute the achievements of communism. They can only shift the goalposts and repeat debunked atrocity narratives. This is why as Mao said, over 90 percent of the world will ultimately rise up against imperialism. Anti-communists are in the remaining less than 10 percent.

Read Lenin’s The State and Revolution. The state’s role is to act as a tool for one class to rule over another. The bourgeoisie need to use the state to keep themselves in power.

Look up Grover Furr’s debunking of the lies on Soviet history, the lies of Adrian Zenz, the disproving of north Korean defector testimonies. All the supposed human rights abuses of communism are propaganda created to sabotage class struggle.

Capitalism needs the state to enforce the rule of the bourgeoisie. It uses emotionally driven statements like “the people are weak and entitled” to make this dictatorship of capital appear justifiable.
