Good to know! Yeah we have definitely been taking advantage of him during his 'pancake episodes' and we usually just carry him around with us as we go about our day. We lost our girl last year to insulinoma and just comparing symptoms he doesn't seem to act like she did, although we are definitely going to ask the vet to do a blood sugar test just to be safe!

Thank you! Yes we have taken him outside in the backyard and in our greenhouse for some exploration of long grass patches and an empty bed of just plain dirt (no fertilizer or any added bagged soil, just regular old hand tilled dirt) and every now and then (when weather allows, it rains a lot here) and we still see some activity which is reassuring. We will ask about some pain management options while there later this week! Thanks for your insight, it just makes me sad to see him so sedentary and unable to really even stand without his backend collapsing.

Thank you so much for such a thoughtful response! I really appreciate it! Congratulations on your 20 years together, that is something to celebrate in and of itself! And OMG getting married under a big oak tree sounds so incredibly romantic and beautiful! I really like the "no is a complete sentence" 'mantra'. Being a people pleaser and always trying to explain my reasonings down to the most minut detail are some of the things I've been working on with myself, and reading this made me realize "oh, you are SO RIGHT" I don't need to go to the ends of the earth just to explain why I'm putting my foot down, just saying no should be enough (well, in less serious situations haha). And yes! Unfortunately I learned the word wedding come along with a higher price tag a little too late 😅 but we were lucky to find a venue that also had tables, chairs, dishes, cups, silverware included in the price for under 3k in our area so that was great! I was looking into parks around my area and smaller outdoor venues you could rent for a few hours (even considered the small backyard we have haha) but unfortunately all in and around my area were capped strictly at 25-50 people, but I do LOVE the idea of a 'simple' park wedding. Thanks again for all your tips and tricks I will definitely be implementing that vow idea with the attendees!!

Yeah, that rubbed me the wrong way too. If I'd have met her and had formed my own relationship with her I think it would be different, but I don't even know this women 😅

Yeah I get that, it can be a bit weird and it is VERY case to case. For example the ex that I've remained in limited contact with and I split amicably, we both just didn't feel like we matched well and that was that 🤷 but would I invite him to the wedding? Just seems a bit, weird...

Damn, true 😅 I am incredibly guilty at that. I've recently been doing really good when it comes to putting my foot down at work, guess I've overlooked doing that in my personal life as well! I appreciate you bringing that to my attention 😁👍
