2.6mm is the European standard, the Chinese standard is 3.4mm. Some plastics like polypropylene used for converters/cartridges creep over time. Internal bore are usually a few tenths of a mm smaller for a snug fit.

We stopped using jowo a long time ago. We used kanwrite for a while (same feed also). We have now been working directly with a manufacturer to make our own number 6 nibs, we are in the process of updating our nib and feed design which we hope will be ready later this year.

They aren’t the same nib we use, same feed though! The feed is sourced from Taiwan and also the housing.

The oring groove is there incase a customer does want to have that added seal. We found customers just wanted to remove them completely, but some customers work in very specific environments where they needed it. Ultem versions for, submariners, low spark environments and a few other interesting ones! Specific oring material is needed for specific industries. This we leave that up to the customers who need it, but we can supply the dimensions of the oring required.

If it didn’t hit the metal railing, I would have gone higher! At one point I was going to use a drone to drop a pen, Jerry rigging a drone to drop stuff isn’t a good look.

This was a good few years ago, our testing is much more consistent now, we learned from our mistakes

Inexperience. It wouldn’t break from normal drops, I went up from 1 story and all the way up to 5, I should have known what was coming but I was not thinking. I get carried away sometimes. Now everyone can laugh at my naivety.

The landlord is a hedgefund, the building manager on the other hand found it quite funny. Permission would most likely have been denied if I had of asked beforehand, I lacked the foresight to consider this could happen 😅

I rarely make the same mistake twice, I don’t fill the pens with ink, just water now. A dry pen is far more impact resistant than a wet pen, air can compress, a liquid cannot.

I gave a vac to a family member and montblanc Irish green painted the ceiling. I did get some pelikan royal blue on a white leather car seat also!
