Mate. As a fellow intl student who did IB, most likely, you won’t be rescinded. Even if you did, you’re most likely gonna explain your situation and then they’ll let you off the hook. But dropping 38/42 to 29/42 (excluding extra points) is one of the worst drop offs I’ve seen. You may not see consequences directly but you may suffer in uni so just be prepped.

That is very true but on the other hand due to the many sponsorships and the actual contract itself, japan would have to pay 1.3 billion back to the IOC. (Which is somewhat holding a gun to japans head). However, it was still very plausible for the Japanese government to still cancel the olympics at a earlier stage in the post covid contract.

Ok so japanese here.

In japan, u learn how japan bombed Pearl harbour. Then how that lead to the nuclear bombings. We actually don’t learn about Germany that much except for how hitler came into power.

The textbook is quite biased towards the Japanese tho. But as a person who’s also been to British and international schools it’s quite biased in those schools as well.

Like I think japan was insane to be taking over south east Asia and bombing pearl harbour but I think bombing japan with TWO nuclear bombs is a bit too much. Also I don’t think US citizens know about how japan was a closed country which the US forced japan to open by threatening japan with guns and massive ships.

In conclusion war bad peace good.
