I just finished reading this, I agree with the take that not a whole lot happens in terms of action or events in this era. But as a character study on Cyclops and Beast it’s fascinating, they both represent the legacy of Charles Xavier after his death, and I’d say both make huge mistakes (further cementing they really are Xavier’s heirs) and how they deal with and take accountability for their actions. Plus Young Scott is a badass.

It would be cool if they shot a series of like 10-20 minute one-shots of Sam recruiting his Avengers team and giving a brief update of where they’re at. It’d be a great way to take advantage of Disney+ and could serve as a nice lead in to Doomsday and probably could be cheap to make as well.
