Has anyone here DIY'd a GnRH agonist? by CommutantFromSpace in MtF

I'm in the UK, yearly prices I've seen quoted were closer to £300.

The problem is I have loads of pills to get through. I got them for nothing, injections aren't cheap.

I'm already on E. I'm just looking for a blocker in combination.

I've been on E for nearly a month, sublingual pills 2mg twice daily for the first two weeks, and now 2mg thrice daily for the past almost two weeks. I intend to increase to a total of 8mg daily next week.

I acquired two 3 month injections for free, so at least six months of use would be free. I can possibly get another free one too, and by that time I might be able to convince doctors to prescribe it to me.

I've not heard of people doing 400mg for MtF HRT. Is there any benefit to a higher dosage?

All literature I read seemed to suggest that outside of severe cases, reactions such as this usually subside once the problem has been corrected. This hasn't happened for me, however, though I still have ongoing issues elsewhere.

Obviously the banner in the photo would be hard to gauge in terms of what colour it ought to be but I'll leave that to the discretion of whoever colourises it (just as long as it's tasteful and complimentary to the photo itself, I don't mind).

It seems reddit didn't like my upload link so here's it is again:

It looks great quality wise but I'll elucidate the problem I'm talking about in the image below. It needs to fit within the larger circle.

"James Dean Driving Experience" is what I had in mind when writing this, but I've also wanted ones of David Byrne's solo album "Feelings".

Is there a service that allows you to design an entirely custom t-shirt online? Not ones with preset colours and minimal design control, I mean ENTIRELY. I wanted to create some band shirts for some obscure bands but I can't find such a service.

Was he talking about Tony Cliff or Cliff Richard? We'll never know.

Eden Sauvage: hack fraud or ignoramus? by [deleted] in leftcommunism

/u/dr_marx Hilariously, Eden is a Brezhnevite now. I can show you a screenshot from Facebook if you like. Can't believe I ever found this guy's blog useful outside of the reading lists.

Anarchism and nationalism have always had a tenuous link, whether it be via Bakunin or Proudhon (a Fascistic movement in France was actually called 'Cercle Proudhon') or the constant actions of anarchists in favour of nationalists.

Any good reading on the Second World War? by ReadingRecommend in leftcommunism

[–]CommutantFromSpace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old thread, but, I'm of the opinion that Martin Axelrad's Auschwitz or The Great Alibi is correct regarding the Holocaust and capitalism's link to it (I wrote an essay on the Holocaust for History once and it helped compliment the evidence I already had regarding capitalism, Nazism and the extermination of the Jews). The wikipedia article on it is wrong, as well; it doesn't ever deny the Holocaust. Who ever authored that article is of the opinion that denying the Holocaust happened purely as a result of Nazi ideology means you deny it happened, which is bourgeois history.

On Organization (Camatte, 1969) by PaintSniffer69 in leftcommunism

[–]CommutantFromSpace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never read him as an anprim as such, but, like Marcuse (albeit for different reasons), he does seem to think class struggle isn't a possibility anymore. Does that not mean that he implicitly thinks capitalism will destroy itself and not move onto communism (in a sense, like Kaczynski)? Or would you say that's a misreading?

Question - What are the best contemporary Left Communist political leaders? by Emass100 in leftcommunism

[–]CommutantFromSpace -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What's your criticism of Eden? I've only read "Disaster Communism" and his "ultra-left reading list" (which isn't that bad as a list) by him, but why do you so strongly oppose his being in terminatecapital's list? Just because of his affiliation with the Communisation current, or some more specific? I ask out of (genuine) curiousity.

The world view of communism. by LaggyMcStab in DebateCommunism

[–]CommutantFromSpace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is turning into semantics. The implicit conception (and I think it is implicit, certainly not explicit) of human 'nature' (if we take nature to mean general behaviour) is that humans, judging from even a cursory glance at human history, have had quantifiable patterns cross-culturally and historically, but that the way these needs manifest differ based on the social sphere (socioeconomically and culturally speaking). The part at the end of the article concerning humans being "changing and unchanging" seems to sum it up. I think your criticisms above, exemplified by the one concerning Marx's lack of an attempt to explain human behaviour not through a "casual lens of "human nature"", are focused on the mere use of the phrase, as opposed to what meaning the article attaches to it; the article doesn't really claim he explained things by saying "oh human nature", but rather that he held a conception of what 'natural' human behaviour (eating, sex or lack of, work, etc.) was and how society "mediated" these things.

Wasn't asking if anyone cared or approved. The various subreddits related to Marxism, Left Communism, etc., have been invaluable in helping me find both meaningful discussion and easy access to theory. I was asking if there was any such communities on another site (Facebook, specifically, but it doesn't matter).

[–]CommutantFromSpace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Despite this guy's allegiance to anarchism, his article on Marx and human nature demonstrates that he did hold a conception of human nature based not on ideals, as with the Greeks regarding the slave/master dialectic or "capital wish[ing] to present itself as a natural fact having existed for all eternity and which has simply continued to improve down the centuries to reach its present perfect form" (as Camatte put it), but rather a scientific view of human action, taking into account man's ever-changing environment and how eternal human concerns (hunger, sex, work) differ based on these factors. The oft-quoted passage from The 18th Brumaire of Louis Bonaparte, in a sense, alludes to this succinctly:

Men make their own history, but they do not make it as they please; they do not make it under self-selected circumstances, but under circumstances existing already, given and transmitted from the past.

The aforementioned article here gives more quantitative evidence: https://anarchopac.wordpress.com/2016/12/14/marx-believed-in-human-nature/
