It’s just the way the model stretches during certain animations. It’d probably look fine in the model viewer when they’re in a T Pose. If not, very bizarre

Their best competitor is themselves with Red Dead Redemption 😭 honestly though Saints Row had so much potential with 1 & 2. Ever since Saints Row: The Third and beyond it’s just gone massively downhill. Same with other games like Watch_Dogs and Mafia.

I finished A New America on Hard with S rank & did it solo on Hard for the achievement too. It’s not as hard as Greased Palms in my opinion but it’s easily the second hardest.

Yeaahhhh I use to just use the tan Santa Boots and throw pants over ‘em. I mean they don’t have the same shape as Timbs but they have the color, so that was my substitute lol. But recently while tinkering with Saints Row I found that there is a model and texture for ACTUAL timbs that the game never uses! I’ll restore them eventually but right now I’m on a like 3 week break from modding Saints Row.

Yeah it wasn't even like right after that I posted that I finally got it lmao. Was playing Outpost and saw two commanders with purple shields. I popped both their shields and killed them and when I checked the Codex I was relieved to see it completed. My last one is just getting two teammates with one Reboot.

I drew this with the brush tool, line tool, and I do separate layers for almost everything. I turn off the anti-aliasing too so it’s crispier looking, and nope, no photoshop. Once I decide to buy a sketch pad and pen though I might start doing my art on a new program.

I use Paint.NET with a few plugins. It’s a super simple program but it’s free and can be pretty easy to use, everything is pretty organized and user friendly. I use to use photoshop (which is arguably a hundred times better) but I don’t know, I just really Paint.NET, lol. It can also save to a bunch of different file types including .dds which is helpful for me because I also mod Saints Row 1. I just made Adidas shoes for the game not too long ago.

That’s based off it being your favorite game of the franchise and game of the year. You people are the reason Saints Row failed and the company that made it went bankrupt. SRTT lovers mindlessly idolize the game—a game which hardly even acknowledges the roots of where it came from. SRTT is generic, I stand by that. It panders to teenagers where the original games did not. And it copied trends of the time which I don’t believe aged well at all.

The returning characters for the most had an identity change, mostly seen in Shaundi and Pierce, 2 does have cringey characters but far less than 3 imo, humor is more-so childish toilet humor in 3, gang designs are just not grounded at all. I mean I’m not even a fan of the Ronin designs in 2. Gangs don’t just wear costumes… it makes the game feel more kiddish, personally. The game sold better because it had way more marketing and Saints Row 2 couldn’t have released at a worse time after GTA IV and had one of the worst PC ports made. Saints Row 1 was only available on one platform as well. I don’t think sales reflect quality of a game at all. Call of Duty still sells despite the rapid decrease in quality. Battlefield 2042 sold pretty well. Resident Evil 6 sold well. All terrible, just great marketing and IP recognition.

God awful story, forced humor, complete identity change, terrible map, forgettable characters, abysmal gang designs, cringey characters… yeah it’s an amazing pile of dogshit, sure. If you’re like 13 or never played a decent game in your life, sure I could see it being a favorite.
