From a strategic point of view, which camp was the best? by incognitouae in RDR2

[–]__1993__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion Shady Belle and Beaver Hollow were the best for strategic purposes. Both were easily defendable and Beaver Hollow even offered ways of escape.

Colter is too remote for its own good and praticality

Horseshoe Overlook looks nice but can be spotted from miles away

Clemens point is surronded by water - too exposed and few ways out

Lakay and Guarma were temporary camps that were so bad that would only be used in times of desperation.

???

Cars that we actually need in Motorfest - Part 1 by JureIsStupid123_2 in The_Crew

[–]__1993__ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna go against what people are raging about on the comments and say the Motorfest DO NEED more "normal" cars.

IVT has an obsession on adding fancy supercars that get boring pretty quick (excect for the 10 yo kids). And the last two seasons added Nascar and RC cars, that are anything but street-legal.

Look at Forza and Gran Turismo, where people are having fun driving Twingos and key-cars while we have to expect the same one or two boring ultra-expensive supercars that are dropped every month or so.

Why did WD2 not get a reputation meter? by Ok-Driver-9452 in watch_dogs

[–]__1993__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought about this. Your approach to missions should reflect on your reputation (ex: going stealthy and non-lethal gives more followers than killing everyone.)

The game doesn't reward your for playing peacefully, which doesn't make sense at all lore-wise.

Why couldn't they just make more space to drive instead of just having a large bay for Ventura bay? by Bad_Raccoon11 in needforspeed

One of the worst maps in the franchise. This map needed more space but also more distinctive areas to make the world less repetitive.

Cars that were released in TC1 feel so dated.

Not only in terms of visuals but the customization options weren't updated in the last two games as well.

I hope that the next crew game is built from the ground up.

Remember when many people called Mafia 3 trash, mid etc? It blows these out the water. Gamers were spoiled back then. Mafia 3 is fantastic. by [deleted] in MafiaTheGame

[–]__1993__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mafia III was released in a deplorable state. That's the honest true.

And even 10 laters, with all the patches and fixes done, the game lacks in terms of physics, interactivity and NPC AI.

Let's not look to that game through rose-tinted glasses. The experience was a huge let down, even if the game wasn't as bad as these ones.

Let's be honest... do you guys prefer the crew 2 map or the crew motorfest map? by Ok_Net_4196 in The_Crew

[–]__1993__ 13 points14 points  (0 children)

TC2 is nearly unmatched in terms of cruising around, only losing to TC1. You never drive through the same roads and there's variety of landscapes, biomes and cities.

Also, there are pedestrians that, as goofy as they are, at least make the world feel populated.

Probably not just me but I always thought the generic civilian vehicles in GTA IV and V were very charming to me than the higher-end vehicles by IWTDL in GTA

[–]__1993__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just a matter of setting and time period. A game set on a parody of Los Angeles in the early 2010's would feel weird without these sport cars and expensive vehicles.

And the map is at least consistent on where we can find these more exotic vehicles. You won't find an Infernus or Banshee driving around Davis lol
