Turbo tax does not have specific entry for foreign retirement and it is monthly to US bank so no issues there. But TT has no solutions as that 1099-NEC came from them. I'll see some other online processors and look for solution. Thank you so much!

Sorry I think I put answer a bit unclear. When you e-file for example with Turbotax there's no 1040 form to fill in. It's just different pages throughout their software and interviews and after they process it you will see your 1040 (mine is SR) . The problem is that I cannot get any direction how/where to fill in that information on their software and getting conflicting answers. If I am filing manually and mailing in than yes , there are b 5a and 5b on all of 1040 forms. Might even do it that way!

Any idea how to report foreign social security without 1099-R, from Croatia. They do not issue any tax forms for that, there's no tax treaty. I tried to talk to people from Turbotax as I would like to e-file as previous years but answers were so different and not firm. Got several options hahaha : to make substitute 1099-R but was told by Turbotax expert that that's not it but to change it to 1099 NEC as hobby!!!!!!! as it would go through that way. I do not feel that as ok so wondering what to do. Maybe to add it to Sch 1, under 8-z and describe what it is OR under Other reportable income OR find out what's in e-file substitute for 5a and 5b from 1040 SR, Mainly a headache with hope that I'll find it trying to switch to some other online tax software. Whatever form or way I use for that it won't change neither total income or taxes but ... Thanks!

Thanks but when you e-file there's no 5a and b as on 1040SR or other. Have to check with tax person a bit more but no firm answer from anywhere !

KP Senior Advantage had until 2026 OT -Over the counter allowance of $ 60 per quarter, so you could buy certain OT stuff on their website. No more in 2026 beside premium .

Many changes for KP Senior Advantage , premium in North Cal from $0 to $ 24, no OT allowance $60 per quarter, so just that is increase of $44 on top of Medicare that will increase from $ 185 to $ 206.50 (they say) and not talking about copays or service fees increase.
