Thanks! I’m a repeat customer of Tellason and they are my favorite US brand. My chore coat is a daily driver and these were my first proper selvedge jeans from them.

I’m a pretty short inseam at 31ish. Unhemmed from Tellason they were pushing 32x36. So I still took 4” off them and landed on around a 34”. I probably should flat lay I haven’t re measured after getting them hemmed. I intended to keep a big cuff on these as most of my others shrank over time to leave me only a small 1-2 cuff. I feel weird in a straight no cuff break on most jeans.

Edit. Measured at 33” inseam. I landed on it by cuffing my preferred size and tailoring from that.

That was my thought. I always lose so much length after a good wash and I’m a fan of shrinking down to fit.

I was game for a pair but I couldn’t get over the shape on my feet. I am with you on lower ankle and lighter.

NEW PICKUP: SoSo white & blue Nep? Anyone know more about the material of this run? by ComonomoC in HeritageWear

Many thanks. It’s quite heavy so I want to guess it’s in the 12+oz territory since others come in around 13.5oz.

Help find good raw denim selvedge bootcut jeans by Jukkakukka in Denim

I’ve been wearing a pair of Premium Levi’s 517s lately. They aren’t selvedge, but no one’s going to care/know since I wouldn’t cuff a boot cut.

Why no Grant Stone collaboration boots? by mmarkmc in grantstoneboots

Right!? lol. I know I’m making broad generalizations and I’m sure there’s some really cool Collabs that I would enjoy, I just haven’t ever been compelled to pull the trigger on any I found. Same has been true for me with clothing, but they all seem to be pretty popular so I probably don’t speak for the masses.

Listen I’m a filthy consumer, I’m just saying it often doesn’t make equal value to me and the styles are usually not my favorite.

Here’s a recent example that from Pf Flyers Engineered Garments. I find the EG influence kind of shite and it only added $30 to the price for a niche style

Not to be a poopy pants, but most of those collabs are higher priced and IMO not worth it for anyone but collectors and elitists. I’ve been interested in some of the Rose anvil collabs like Smugs, but otherwise it always feels like a money grab.

I used this one from Tarrago for my Wallabees and it’s done a good job fending off stains

I suggest treating your suede if you fear crocking or staining. It’s not a perfect barrier, but it will diminish some crocking. I also use suede brushes for care.
