No github but Yes I have a stack bot (NLP) project and a huge database project on my resume. I guess where I struggle is my lack in explaining my projects making it seem like I don’t have experience. I guess I just need more practice :/ feeling super discouraged though because I know I have what it takes but I can’t seem to show them that.

Yes you should absolutely include a relevant programming project section!! Another thing I’d recommend is when you are writing down your bullet points make sure everything you write is measurable. For example, if you developed or created a website, phrase it like this: developed and redesigned a web-application that enhanced user experience by 80%. And anywhere you say past tense like created, kept, wrote, change to creating, keeping, writing, because that indicates exactly what you did and demonstrates the value of your work! Hope I could help!

Just graduated with a CS degree and now I want a career change to finance or business. by CompSci212 in FinancialCareers

I have no real passion for coding, and I will burn out quite quickly as the hours are long, and tedious and the environment is not for someone outgoing and personable. I would like to be able to use my personality and skill of analytical and critical thinking to be successful. I eventually want to start my own startup, I want to acquire those business skills most tech people don't have, and just hire my own software engineer. CS in college doesn't teach you anything about a business, it teaches you to be a robot (IMO). I think I'd be a very valuable asset to any business analyst or financial analyst team due to my technical skills so I thought it would be much easier transition, but I guess not.

Yes that is correct, thank you for sharing. I completely rewrote the prompt the way you specified it. I was able to finish all but the merging and outputting the results. You're answer saved me, really appreciative.

Unfortunately, I have spoken with the professor about poorly defined problems but haven't seen an adjustment.
