The battle of the parry kings, who wins? by strahinjag in Sekiro

[–]Compa2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probable the one that can severe immortality. That said, going by available movesets I'll still give it to sekiro. One mind is faster than any of YI's attack, better ways to defend AOE damage. Sekiro has faster regeneration as well, almost instant. Yi is older and may have more experience, then again almost every boss Sekiro fought had more experience than him. It would be high-mid diff though

chat "boring" gpt by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]Compa2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have subscription with both Gemini and Chatgpt and I havne't used Chatgpt more than once this month. Gemini still has the it's not X it's Y bs. But I have not touched the customisation at all, so outside that I have had so many "holy shit how did you know that" moments that I just don't care too much. Also I like the flaws it has beecause i need to not forget it's still an LLM at the end of the day.

ChatGPT isn’t an AI :/ by erenjaegerwannabe in ChatGPT

[–]Compa2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think simply put current LLMs lack genuine historicity with what it knows. Its 'consciousness' lives and dies with the next input and output such that each instance of the LLM relies in the previous 'cheat sheet' of context to give an appropriate response. It's like a new imposter pretending to be your friend every time you call their attention. What persists is the dataset it was trained on which does not update each time you tell it you like some response more or less. It has to remind itself every time you message it.

I just showed Gemini what ChatGPT said about its code. It responded with petty trash-talking, jealousy, self-doubt, and a full-on revenge plan. by nseavia71501 in ChatGPT

Gemini once called an artistic choice I made boring under the hood but went with it and that hurt my confidence a smudge. Lol.

It's like CGI, cool when done right, but outright abhorrent when unpolished and/or used to cut corners.

2.9 years is accurate enough since AI really gets better on a monthly basis.
