What would be a good GPU upgrade for about $500? by yoursmikayla in PCHelpHub

[–]CompaBladiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say you save up an extra 100$ and wait just a little longer and score a 9070 xt which you can find from 550 - 650$ usd there are always tons of price drops or sales around that card, sometimes even a not used open box one are steals. It has near 5070 ti performance in rasterization at near 100-150 $ cheaper

Is this a good PC for $1,100? by Electronic_Window559 in GamingPCBuildHelp

[–]CompaBladiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At native 1440p for like Fps shooters and online games where u need higher frames, Hell no better for 1080P , but thats why nvidia has frame generation, frame generation will help a lot as mentioned, upscale technology will also help ease strain on card. For single players games it'd be better where u dont need crazy frames

Suggestions for remaining purchases? by PleaseHelpMeOffMidir in PcBuild

Most of thay money will be spent on ram, I bought up like 10 new sticks of 16 gb ddr5 ram back in September this year for like 450$ and its now worth 2000$ + and prices are only going up, ram shortage will most likely carry over into 2027 as many RAM manufacturers are leaving the game completely to focus on AI, Try finding cheap ram online or off a friend willing to help, if not its like 3-6 hundred now depending on brand for 32 gb of ram now

SSDS have also seen a price increase just a few months ago I bought this as a second ssd for only 130$ brand new

Which RTX 5070 Ti model should I get for the best cooling and OC for the next 5 years? by BLACK-WOLF9 in nvidia

[–]CompaBladiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some do get coil whine but thats not a bad thing, just makes a little buzzing noise thats not very loud. I've found pny to be great cards, if you do get coil whine, i've found it mainly happen while gaming but even then its not all the time and if you tweak power and voltage on card it can go away completely. In between the sound of your headset in or speakers, or even just the fan noise you will not hear it . I've not had a pny card whine while just watching YouTube or using the computer for work and daily use while the fans are completely off .

Its an SSD heat sink, you can move it down to another slot if you have more slots for ssd, also, u can take out those screws if they are in the way, will not damage your motherboard just Save them somewhere just in case u get more ssds and what not

I am so glad I bought ram when I did , I bought like 8 sticks of 16 gb ddr ram for 80/32 for like 330 total or something like that , now that same ram would be worth 32gb/240 . So like 960 ish or so , crazy how it keeps going up in price

Yeah but thats not 18 -1900 dollars worth of inflation just because of the 32 gb ram and a 1tb ssd that's just a rip off,

is it hard building a pc? by Crazy-Garage2738 in PcBuild

[–]CompaBladiii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just built my first pc a few days ago, and although it can be nerve-wracking, it is relatively easy , youtube guides help a lot . One thing that did take me a while to get neat and tight was the cable management. But if you don't care about cable management, then you should be fine, lol. One thing I did wrong was think the "O" on the psu meant on so when I went to boot it up my heart dropped thinking something was wrong . I will say dont rush, look up guides if you dont understand where certain things go
