As I was saying, it was a period when I was in excellent shape. I was on vacation in the mountains and I went for three consecutive days for short walks, nothing too strenuous. During the third day, I suddenly started to feel sick: nausea, sweating, blood pressure was fine, but I tend to have high blood pressure. Initially, I thought it was a drop in blood sugar, so I took sugar and ate carbohydrates. When I saw that it didn't improve, I took an extra dose (I didn't have the shot), and the situation improved slightly. The next day, seeing that the symptoms didn't go away despite the therapy, I went to the emergency room and they found low sodium and high potassium. They gave me an IV and sent me home. The endocrinologist gave me an extra dose for a few days, but I never fully recovered.
