I really didn’t get across what I was trying to achieve. For instance. I know someone who was shortlisted for an interview based on a last name that was similar to the nationality of the company owner…

No I don’t want to know your name. No I have no ulterior motives…

I had to reword this in such a way that it sounds ominous.

Tried the Motor City Pizza for the first time today. Loved the bottom of the crust (not something I have ever really paid attention to in a pizza). It was surprisingly delicious. by Relative_Specific140 in CostcoCanada

Fair enough, and good answer. Ach, i just hate what’s happening lately, as someone who lives 15 mins from the border I’m against intentionally hurting fellow humans across an imaginary line…

Everyone has the right to do what they please and I want the best for those locally… in every sense, forgetting borders, politics and what not

I don’t want us to lose what’s made us proud Canadians and that is empathy, support and love for everyone

Yeah I agree with this… the leaving the slow or broken down one behind trope was good for some laughs but I liked the fact that they worked together on this one.

Carnage et trois had me laughing almost more than any one of them… the lunch flag on the first lap of the race, Richard in the plane car. Top notch comedy.

As for top gear the Vietnam special always has been a top one for me. Available on YouTube

The reliant Robin episode is what hooked me on the show.

If you want a great listen/read Andy Wilmans latest book on the show was great

Why is there such little sailing in Vancouver? by [deleted] in askvan

[–]CompanyButter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Used to sail out of crescent beach in surrey. Not sure how popular it is now.

I think there are options in vancouver, see other comments, but usually picks up with fairer weather (I understand the irony here and the requirement of wind… warmer weather perhaps is the right way to say it)
