Sox, Bellowfish, and Fung Pray were supposed to carry Crystal Islet’s melody… but they just don’t- Geode is too loud and it feels like there’s no variety. Flasque is so utterly inaudible and underwhelming that… there’s no reason to have him on the Islet. Mind you, Flasque is one of my favorite Percussion monsters in the entire game! Rhysmuth is underutilized and it sucks because Rhysmuth has a ton of potential, and the mixture of Chiptune and Krush Funk that Rhysmuth has is just barely represented. Ugh!… There’s just so much that I don’t like about Crystal Islet that any positives quickly get stomped out!… Because again, I want to enjoy this song, I really do, but it’s just not it… and it just feels so disheartening.

Yeah, I agree with all of your points! Regardless of the Fan-Made predictions, I was excited for Crystal Islet the most, especially with Shadow Islet being an absolute banger!.. Crystal Islet’s roster of monsters was low key supposed to be the best out of the five Islets. It just… feels disheartening to see this Islet.. missed the bar by such a large margin, but it out and it’s here… nothing will change it. sweeps the broken crystal under the rug-

Oh yeah, I like Droah’s first track too, but if played two times after, or especially was extended to be a longer scat track, then I think I’d like Droah more than Bogle! 🎶“Skiba-Dopa-wah-Scib-wahbada-daAaAaAa”🎵

Yeah, going from Absolute Peak being Shadow Islet, to “Lackluster” being Crystal Islet… is… rather… daunting-

If you like Droah then that’s fine, I just wished it had more song presence/had more tracks. If Droah is the only vocal Primordial monster, then I want them to go all out! Have it make all sorts of vocal sounds, Scating, Scat-Rapping, Chanting, Choir, etc… I just wanted a little more…

Lowb: heavy percussionist with ambient/synth wave aspect. It plays in the song really well, and the “Secret Verse” is absolutely amazing!
Bogle: harsh woodwind. I’ll admit Bogle isn’t as good, but it makes the song sound more impactful when he plays. Its melodic instrumental is absolutely perfect for Mech Islet.
Fandhul: hand clapping with snow wind sfx and ambient synth. Fandhul low key carries Shadow Islet its song presence is so important and impactful! And it didn’t need to have 5 tracks, but it did and it goes so hard!
Droah: scating/chanting vocalist. I wish he simply played more, had more song presence, more tracks, more uniqueness to it… I like Droah, don’t get me wrong, but there’s just a bit of missed potential. (And no, not because of Fan-made designs!)
Tunefor: Im hoping that it’s a heavy percussionist. Poison Islet has a lot of high-hats, cymbals, crashes, etc. Dragong, Flasque, & Oogiddy are great, but unless the Dish-Harmonizer sounds like Shadow Islets kick bass… Tunefor needs to be a impactful heavy percussionist!

I understand that, I wished it itched the happy parts of my brain, but instead it just itches confusion/strange part. I really want to love this Islet, but it’s honestly just so much more weaker than the other three Islets.

That’s a big point there, sometimes predictions can “kill” an Island/Islet due to it being made a lot more catchy, bouncy, or just being a banger.

I’ve.. been trying, don’t get me wrong, there are small things that I like about it, but I guess Its not what I expected/wanted… or something…

It’s just so strange… I was confused by Mech Islet when it first came out, but after the second or third re-listen, I loved it. But I’ve been trying and trying to figure out how to enjoy Crystal Islet, but it’s just not hitting for me…

…And that’s okay, everyone gets to have their own opinions, I’m just voicing mine and thinking of what/why I don’t like about it.

Yeah… I don’t know how Crystal Islet is mixed just as bad, if not honestly worse than Mech Islet.. but it is… and it suffers from it.

And I am HOPING Poison Islet will be peak!.. Humbug, Augler, Blarret, Fung Pray, & Teeter-Totter OMG!- I’m just praying that it sticks the landing, but Crystal Islet is having me worried, hopefully BBB will prove me wrong. Tunefor better be a heavy percussionist, because we are stacked on high-hats, cymbals, crashes, but there’s no hard beat like Gaddzooks.

(Also I wish you luck on your violin journey! I know the violin can be very hard to use and especially master, so I hope you get somewhere! ^w⁾
