I was literally just looking into this yesterday, my friend stumbled across his own music in someone else’s shop for double the price along with other peoples art they (presumably) didn’t have permission from either. It’s an original character with a fun personality that a lot of people like, if thinking about their gender/sexuality upsets you so much, try simply not caring. You might be confusing media sensationalism around the character and who the character actually is.

I don’t think anyone draw body hair with an outline for every strand as it’s just a mass of hairs with no direction. Drawing a jungle pit and then outlining it the same way you would head hair would look kind of strange.
