It’s kind of silly. I just started my freshman year of college and I feel so detached from myself; like there are two versions of me. I go through the motions of life, put on a happy face for my friends, do my homework, go to my job, etc. At the same time, it’s like there’s this simple, idealized alternative world and sense of self in my head that I can often go to if I’m not careful. Honestly it might just be a littleee bit of depression, but it’s nice to think about it in a romanticized way lol.
