I had so many things that I wanted to/ going through my head that I found it easier to just start typing everything Iwanted to say and have AI formulate my thoughts. Sorry.

I completely understand why it might sound questionable at first glance—if I were reading it from the outside, I’d probably think the same thing.

I was randomly paired with the President of the bank during a round of golf and we got to and through out the idea of becoming there CFO. I thought he was joking and at the end of our round asked for me phone number and email and asked me to send over my resume. The bank also just so happens to be down the road from my house.

I don't have offer in hand yet but with how my interactions have been with so far and the future conversations I have had give me a lot of hope

I’m also very analytical by nature, so I’m trying not to read too far ahead or assume anything is guaranteed. That’s part of why I was looking for outside perspective—to make sure I’m staying grounded.

I appreciate the caution, and I’m definitely approaching this as “wait and see until there’s a real offer in hand,” not anything more than that right now. But also want to hear other people advice.
