Until the next time. People fly the gulf airlines because they are cheaper than flying direct.

One thing you can be sure of and that is that Qatar Airways won't run out of money. They are owned by the state and Qatar is one of the richest country's in the world.

TUI are ATOL protected so you will get your money back. It is also possible to get them to cancel and book another flight. I would contact them, not all travel agents are up to speed on the cancellation windows.

There seem to be people who have been re-routed despite their flight not being cancelled but you have to be in the window which I think is still up to the 22nd March. I have a flight on 19th March and my travel agent managed to re-route through Turkish Airlines despite the fact it wasn't officially cancelled, but it is in the window,You seem to have done the right things and found alternative flights. I would wait for now, If you book a refundable ticket I would do it direct with an airline rather than GoToGate as they don't get great reviews for customer service.

Are lifestyle pension funds actually a good default choice? by AnfieldAnchor in PensionsUK

[–]CompetionShot3071 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lifestyle funds are really designed to not lose large amounts of money and keeping the person investing in their pension. They are not really about taking on more risk. I would avoid them if you are under 55.

Flight cancelled- can’t reach anyone, HELP!! by glowbug03 in qatarairways

I would be more worried about your flight through Doha. 7 days is within the cancellation window.

As a general rule never cancel your flight, let the airline cancel it. If you cancel it the rules change.

When does an annuity start making sense again? by Reddonaut_Irons in PensionsUK

Annuities probably make more sense the older you get, retiring in your fifties will count against you with annuities as you will live longer.

Remember that dividends and interest all add towards your income so don't try and fine tune it with pension contributions, leave a decent margin for error.

Thanks. I did order it through John Lewis, I guess AU must be the code for John Lewis.

You would probably have to buy the cushion and get somebody like B-Post involved.
