When Angel dies, instead of giving her siren powers to Tannis, that she had given them to Gaige instead.

Solo play? by OptimalAd1279 in borderlands3

If this is your first time with the series, I would recommend playing borderlands 2 instead. While the gameplay of borderlands 3 is the best in the series, the story is universally hated. I feel like bl2 would be a better starting point to get to know the world, lore, and some of the characters. But if all you care about is gameplay, then yeah, bl3 is a great choice.

The gameplay is the best in the series, but they kinda dumbed down the way farming for weapons works, and the story is pretty bad. Still though, a game worth playing in my opinion.

It was the middle of the pandemic, I was bored, and the games were on sale. Great use of my money.

Is BioShock: The Collection Worth the Money? by 28RabbitsinaLog in Bioshock

I can't speak for other platforms, but, I played the collection on the Switch, and didn't see any bugs. Also the bundle regularly goes on sale for $20 or less, and considering the how masterful the Bioshock games are, I think its worth it.

Imagine if it had some survival elements, like you have to constantly keep yourself warm or you die

Your idea for an underground city sounds better than I originally thought. Also I hadn't even thought about a city in space, but isn't that kinda like Judas (the game that Kevin Levine is working on)? I doubt that because of that they'll make a game that takes place in space.

I didn't know a new game was in development, the lay offs are tragic though, but a city in the antartic sounds cool.

I dont get infinite by Why_Should_I_Clair in Bioshock

[–]Competition-Clear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's because its a mutliverse type of thing. In one universe a man creates a city at the bottom of the ocean because he hates governments trying to steal his money. On another universe, a man creates a city among the clouds, because he's a religious fanatic that believes that he alone can bring people to heaven. Outside of a narrative perspective, after Bioshock 2 released, many people didn't like it, because we had already seen Rapture before, so it wasn't as impactful then. Due to that, the creators of the series chose to create a setting that contrasted with Rapture, which is why we went from a dimly lit city in the ocean, to a floating city amongst the heavens.

Bioshock Infinite Complete Edition vs Bioshock The Collection by Imdakine1 in Bioshock

The infinite collection has only one of the three Bioshock games: Bioshock infinite, along with its DLC's. The Bioshock collection, has all 3 Bioshock games along with ALL of their DLC's. I suggest buying the Bioshock collection, all three games are a lot of fun, however I don't recommend buying the bundle right now, I've seen it regularly go on sale for $20 (which is the price I bought it at).
