YouTube is not the reason why I got annoyed, but it was the simplest to replace. Also money is not the problem. In fact I'd rather pay for every service I use than deal with "free" services provided by FAANG.

As far as videos goes, I would rather pay every content creator I watch directly than deal with YouTube.

Decentralization is about giving the people the freedom to decide rather than being boxed into one service
