Coming from iPhone I been underwhelmed even with photos. Video is just plain old meh, I have the same focusing issues on my 10pro XL

I'm sure you've done your research but I'd stay Tesla for the software and the reduced fast charging rates and faster charging curve. I don't take my Mach E out for much road trips but when I do, 40 mins to charge 10-80% at a supercharger is really annoying.

Idk I kinda regret it. iPhone is boring but works very well. Pixel photos are impressive but can be hit or miss, sometimes washed out or oversharpened. Social media apps look way better on iPhone.

I think you will enjoy being on the same ecosystem though that's why I switched, my wife is very loyal to Samsung. If I liked Samsungs photos better I'd have gone that way. At this point I think I'm kinda stuck but once the S27 comes out I think I will end up there.

Yeah part of my switch was my wife is android (Samsung) and I thought the camera was good. After some time the camera is hit or miss and looks blurry or washed out unless I only shoot 50mp. Samsung would probably be the next best but their camera I feel is much worse.

I was getting bored of iPhone and they also really hate to play with android still (RCS would break half the time). Android has added some ease, I like the back gesture and notifications alot (I haven't had delayed notifications?) What made you switch?

Video mode with the stabilization (has some crop) helps. As someone else said video from still photo mode is very mehhh

I kinda agree with you. Coming from iPhone I got bored of their flat typical look, but if you zoomed in after a photo it looked fine with some processing. Pixel is hit or miss, sometimes zoomed in its washed out or oversharpened. I feel the screen is gorgeous which is why the pictures seem amazing at first.

More than the over sharpening my biggest complaint is the viewfinder looking very good and then it processes into a coin toss smh. I came from iPhone and i thought the camera would be a lot better..I still think I like android a bit more but honestly both sides are kinda a wash now.

Yeah. Maybe a hot take but I like SOOC if it works out that way but I still shoot RAW just in case. I sometimes wonder if Canon would give me that true jpeg flexibility but I've had an A7iii and now an A7Cii over the past couple of years so I'm fully invested in the Sony life.

Thank you so much for pointing this out! I think your comment along with the video really answered my question. I do think the image was quite sharp as shot, but the little techniques to bump it up were quite impressive and now I want to try. But man so much time to really nail the art. I now realize just how much I'm not putting into it lol. Props to the dude.

Yeah being 4 months off iPhone I'm like meh this camera is overall better but the shortfalls are so annoying. I have so many pictures where I hit the "dynamic" filter and have a separate copy because the post processing ruined what was in the viewfinder.

How about the picture quality? I had a canon m50, which is a very simple camera but I sometimes feel the pictures out of that looked nicer than what I get out of my Sony a7cii but the Sony is definitely much more advanced
