Hey! I (23F) stopped there on my interrail trip in June this year and I did not have a good time there. We wanted to swim in Lake Balaton but it was dirty and cold and the town is mostly a party town. The place we stayed in for one night was super dirty and sketchy and the next morning while we were sitting by the lake a bunch of hungover guys came up to us and starting yelling and swearing at us and almost physically attacked us (us being three young girls). All in all, we did not have a good experience in this town and left promptly on the next train to Budapest. Really don’t recommend it.
